My recent stay at Al Qasr was once again an experience filled with warmth, care and the highest standards of hospitality. Every member of the team made my visit feel like a return to my second home, especially as I celebrated my birthday there.
At Arboretum, Vivas provided exceptional service each morning, always remembering my regular drink and greeting me with kindness and a genuine smile. Rohan was consistently courteous and accommodating, while Chandan’s skill as a chef shone through in his attention to detail. Ryan brought an energy that lit up the room, his attentiveness and cheerful presence making every interaction memorable. Simo’s prompt and precise service, coupled with his gracious manner, stood out, as did Beca’s respectful and passionate approach to his work. Araliym, with a radiant smile and thoughtfulness, added to the welcoming atmosphere. Sanjoy, ever mindful and professional, ensured everything ran seamlessly. Nisha showed great confidence in the role and delivered service with admirable hospitality.
Housekeeping was impeccable. Suresh worked with thoroughness, leaving my room spotless and fresh each day, while Maruf’s cheerful nature and kindness made the experience all the more homely.
Miriam ensured a beautifully prepared room for my birthday, complete with flowers, balloons and treats. I was deeply touched by the kindness, and grateful to the whole team who worked together to make my celebration unforgettable.
In Celeste, Mohammed Jasim impressed with his dedication and thoughtfulness, kindly assisting me when I needed help after my operation. His respectful and caring attitude will not be forgotten.
The concierge team were equally outstanding. Mohammed always welcomed me warmly, and Katty, whose energy and passion shine through, was a delight to see at my departure after her vacation.
On the abra, Captain Dilip was a wonderful source of energy. It is always a joy to see how engaging, kind and attentive he is. His beautiful singing, thoughtful conversations and remarkable memory of my previous visits made each journey a highlight. I wish him continued happiness, and may he keep bringing smiles while filling hearts with warmth.
At the Palace Lounge, it was wonderful to meet William again and catch up with him. It was also a pleasure to see Cathy, whose constant smile never fades regardless of life’s challenges. Stopping by to say hello to her always brightens the day.
Ikram at Talise Spa. Such refreshing young ladies, such an attentive, kind hearted, wonderful smile, colleague of Jumeirah So happy to meet somebody with genuine optimism and kindness, which is sometimes lacking at Talise. Thank you ever so much for all that you do and keep that golden spirit that you have inside you with that huge smile
Fatma is always a breath of fresh air. Her diligence brings a sense of warmth and homeliness throughout Al Qasr, where every detail is meticulous and surpasses five-star standards. Her passion is visible in her radiant presence. She ensures every guest leaves happy and consistently strives to do what is best for them. I will always be grateful for her high standards and her remarkable support of the entire team.
The valet staff, led by Herbert and Wallace, embodied the true spirit of Al Qasr. Their smiles and warm greetings made every arrival feel like coming home, even under the toughest conditions. Their commitment deserves the highest recognition.
I am delighted that the feedback from my last visit was taken into consideration. This time there was nothing to fault. My room carried a heavenly fragrance, the bathroom was always fully equipped, and the cleanliness reached an impeccable level. I was impressed to see how much the team had elevated their service since my visit in June.
My deepest Gratitude to all of you, even those i haven’t mentioned here, due to limited words for a review thank you ever so much. Thank you, Al Qasr, for making every visit...
Read moreBecause of the price, and hence the positioning of the property, Jumeirah Al Qasr has a formidable peer set. And it’s against this peer set that its service standards and value for money fall short for us.
The Stars: Housekeeping team. Through our 3-night stay from Apr 8, they kept Rm 359 immaculate. They were attentive and rapidly responsive. Muslim and his teammates who took such good care of us, we are profoundly grateful.
To Malik, who ferried us on his abra, more than the once and blessed us with his excellent photography skills, you were another highlight for us.
Can be improved: The manner some staff ask for our status as guests on the beach, and at abra stations could come across as brusque and unfriendly.
Pre check in. A member of staff called to confirm our arrival and ask if we had any special requests. She was rushed. Impersonal. And completely gave you the impression that she’s reading from a script and hurrying to complete it so she could move on to the next guest on her list. She didn’t allow me to speak and at one point seemed to say my booking is cancelled. I asked “what do you mean cancelled; why cancelled” and she had already moved on to the next item on her script which suggested the booking is NOT cancelled. I decided to let it go as there’s no point speaking to someone who doesn’t really want to speak with you.
On checkin. Wallace at the valet stand helped me with my bag and welcomed me so very warmly. Wallace you’re a star for setting the mood so right for guests.
When Wallace brought us to front desk though, he tried to hand us over to a blonde lady colleague of his so she could take care of us and he return to his post. She showed disinterest and simply motioned Wallace to her engaged colleagues at the front desk, and walked on without breaking stride.
She seemed to be in a hurry to go nowhere as well and what was jarring and awkward for us and other guests was seeing Wallace’s uncomfortable body language on receiving such a dismissive attitude from a co-worker. It’s very poor optics for guests and sets an awful tone for the stay.
At properties of a similar price point, we were greeted by name on arrival at the front desk. One example is the Four Seasons Sayan.
Talise. It takes forever for anyone to respond on the WhatsApp chat. When you phone up, no one picks up and you keep getting redirected to the front desk who then sends your call to Talise and on it goes until the system disconnects you. Yes. It’s a busy week. Still. For your positioning and price point, you surely can do much better and must. It’s table stakes for your...
Read moreAnother fabulous visit to jumerierah resorts dubai and our first to Al Qasr having always stayed in Jumeirah Beach Hotel previously.
Made most memorable for wonderful decor of the hotel and the equisite service we received from all memebers of staff but most certainly the team in the Executive Club Lounge who made our stay unforgettable thanks to their efforts.
The team of ladies (im sorry i did not get their names) were super efficient and extremely polite at all times and the gentlemen consisting of William, Alexander, Santosh, Yuda and Louis were super efficient and always delivered a friendly welcome be it morning noon or night. Special mention to William whos smiles and laughter and super service was above and beyond and the exce club chef who without fail would always ask what i would like / how i would like it and delivered exceptional food every time.
Highlight for me every day was the afternoon tea which gave me a fabulous respite from the heat of the mid afternoon sun and allowed me to sample an excellent selection every day of sandwiches, pastries and cakes.
Also our room service was so well delivered by Ashis who was the most pleasant and humble young man yet was amazing to watch ust how super efficient and speedy he was at his work and he never missed a thing. Alwaus super clean and the beds / linen made up to perfection and a pleasure to always walk back into the room after he had been in.
My only slight negatives of the whole trip were:
Check in - No cold towel / drink on arrival (something we always had before) although we were shown straight to the exec lounge and were able to have breakfast after check in.
Dine Around - The dine around option on the HB offering is something we have always partaken of as it has always represented good value and options for excellent dining. This time we feel the dine around was somewhat limited in terms of complimentary options and a number of venues were being refurbished and also that there sems to be an awful lot of venues now since our last visit that require supplements which vary in price and how applied. I think the Jumeirah dine around is a fabulous favilty but it has to remain accessible and should be a high light of any visit. Please dont make it all about supplememts for this and for that as it sours the experience a bit.
Overall a truly wonderful holiday and an outstanding stay at Al Qasr which i would not hesitate in recommending to our family & friends.
Best regards as always
