edit: owner-replied-with-generic-response-instead-😭 Amazingly Well-Put Place! (Visited during a school field trip, not a personal trip.) --- PREFACE: Visited on: A Thursday of November Occasion: School field trip Note: School covered food costs; food prices mentioned below are from signs and may vary. --- ⭐ AMAZING EXPERIENCE Had so much fun here—it was chaotic in the best way possible! 😂 The free-fall ride was incredible, though getting there was a workout! There’s an alternative to the stairs, but... I forgot 😭 (could the owners clarify this which ride takes you to the scream one?). But in that ride that takes you to THAT ride, I got lost a few times and got off at the wrong stop—clearer guidance would be appreciated! Pro tip: Bring a mask that covers your nose for swimming! When the waves hit, it’s not fun having water shoot up your nose while underwater—I learned the hard way. 😭 Additional Info: WiFi is available but seems limited to an hour (as per other reviews—can someone confirm?). Lockers are not free: Small locker: 39 AED; Big locker: 59 AED (forgot the price for medium). Food is tasty but on the pricier side: e.g., an ice cream cone is 16 AED, and outside food isn’t allowed. Plastic water bottles are not permitted, but you can bring reusable bottles. Sadly, no refill stations—water costs around 3 AED for a cold bottle. Bathrooms: Clean and functional! 7/8 stalls were working during my visit, which is far better than some places with barely any functional stalls. 😨 Important note for men/boys: Monday @ 8 PM seems to be a women-only time (families allowed? Unsure). --- 💡 TIPS & INSIGHTS: 💚 Pros: Fantastic rides, friendly staff, and stunning architecture! Rides are unforgettable—perfect for creating cherished memories. Bring a map and wear slippers (not shoes)—some rides don’t allow shoes, and you don’t want to miss out. 💛 Neutral: Prices are on the higher side but understandable for the experience. Paid lockers, so bring minimal belongings if you’re on a budget. Follow the dress code to avoid issues. 💔 Cons: Some seats were stained or worn down. Bring a large towel to sit on—bubble gum stuck to my school pants taught me that lesson the hard way. 😭 --- FINAL VERDICT: Would I go again? Absolutely! One of the best places I’ve visited so far.

If you're looking for an unforgettable water adventure, Wild Wadi should definitely be on your list! This was my first time visiting a water park, and I truly enjoyed it with my family. At first, I was hesitant to join my wife and in-laws because I thought it would just be an ordinary water park. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We started with the Flood River Flyer, and I immediately realized how much fun I was having. I didn’t expect the Tunnel of Doom, which was incredibly dark—a thrilling ride that left me going with the flow until we reached the light! Next was Burj Surj, a water slide full of twists and curves. I managed it, but honestly, it was a bit scary! 😂 Then came Tantrum Alley, which felt like we were caught in a tornado—so intense it made my heart race! The most nerve-wracking ride was Jumeirah Sceirah. Standing 33 meters tall, this fast free-fall water slide gave me an adrenaline rush as I stepped into a capsule that suddenly dropped me down, rushing me down a 120-meter chute at speeds of up to 80 km/h (length of chute and speed are based on Google😊). I spent nearly 10 minutes thinking about whether I should try it or not, and I almost backed out! But finally, I decided to give it a go, feeling incredibly nervous as I counted down: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1—then I plunged down! After all the excitement, we relaxed in the Action River before spending the rest of our time at Breaker’s Bay, the largest wave pool in the Middle East. This water park truly challenged me, as I’m not into sports or heights, but I overcame my fears! Additionally, the food options were amazing! We opted for the all-you-can-eat meal for 89 AED, which allowed us to enjoy delicious choices like pizza, burgers, footlongs, salads, and more every 30 minutes—perfect for an active day of fun! The facilities were clean, with well-maintained toilets and showers, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Wild Wadi is perfect for a family outing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a day filled with fun and adventure!

Once a dream turned into a nightmare “wild wadi ladies night”

Just yesterday I was excited to go to wild wadi water park but what happened there I wish I never went I wish it was all a dream but it’s a NIGHTMARE not only they hurt my mental health they also hurt my heart I was really happy once I entered but as I left I was sad because I was waiting for this day for 2 weeks to go and have fun

When we arrived all the parking were full so we didn’t know where to go and we called customer service once they answered we asked them where do we park and all the parking are full then the woman for customer service said “why are you late” why is she getting into my personal details. the park opens at 6pm-11pm I can come whenever I want

After that we went to the line for the lockers we waited 2 HOURS WHO waits TWO HOURS for LOCKERS AM I GONNA LIVE IN IT

After that we bought the lockers and went to the locker rooms once we entered the place was full it was like traffic jam on the road then we went and were expecting to put our stuff in the lockers WE PAID FOR but the lockers don’t WORK why do you sell lockers if they don’t work we asked the lady in the locker room to help us and she said wait 30-40 mins because there is a problem with the IT what do you mean wait 30-40 mins I just waited 2 hours for these lockers and I wasted my PLAY time so we put our stuff on the floor and went to play

Once we went to play mind you we had fast pass WE STOOD IN THE LINE FOR 1 HOUR and I am not over exaggerating and over that they were only moving the normal line and not the fast pass WHY DID I PAY FOR FAST PASS IF I WASNT GONNA GO ON THE RIDE FAST then when I asked the lady why we aren’t the fast pass moving then she told me I don’t know why what do you mean you don’t know you’re the one literally letting the people ON THE RIDE then once we went up to get on the ride and IT WAS OUR TURN then the lady let other people on OUR TURN it my turn why is someone else taking it

After I finished the ride we went down and we checked the time it was around 10:30PM and the PARK CLOSES AT 11PM mind you I only rode one ride all this time because of all the people and waiting in all the lines to ENTER I started at 9 then we went to see if we can ride other rides they said they are all closed because of that I had to play WITH THE KIDS IN THE KID SLIDES because all the rides were closed except for those to be honest those are the only good rides in the whole park you know why it’s the best rides because those are the only rides I rode in the whole park and I only rode ONE slide and the lazy river and the wave pool AND THE WAVES WERENT EVEN ON SO IT WAS BASICALLY JUST A POOL

Once we had to leave I went to change but all the lockers and changing rooms were so full that people are changing OUTSIDE and either like a minimum of 2-3 people in ONE changing room why sell tickets to over 2000 people if you can’t manage them and I’m not exaggerating because someone said there are over 2k people in the park

After we finished changing we went to refund our lockers because we DIDNT USE THEM once we entered the place to refund we didn’t even say a word and the lady starts screaming NO REFUND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT I WANT TO REFUND WHEN I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING not only that when we tried to talk to the lady she kept on talking to us DISRESPECTFULLY and we tried to talk to her respectfully but that clearly didn’t work all they kept on saying is send an email why are you telling me send an email when I NEED MY MONEY NOW

Because these people DO NOT KNOW HOW TO COOPERATE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS

This is a WARNING for people if you don’t want to go WASTE YOUR MONEY TO GO TO THIS WATERPARK I wasted a lot of money on this water park when I could’ve USED IT FOR MY NEEDS LIKE FOOD I do not recommend this park only if you want to experience the worst day OF YOUR LIFE just go to better water parks I swear you will...

We contacted Jumeirah Beach Hotel several times before our visit to confirm that our Ladies’ Day entry to Wild Wadi was included with our room booking. Their team clearly confirmed that we could enter without buying tickets.

We arrived at 6:15 PM and were shocked by the chaos. The separate entrance for hotel guests was closed today, and they refused to let us use it, despite our reservation. Even guests with electronic tickets were forced to wait in the same overcrowded queue. If the park had already reached capacity, ticket sales should’ve been stopped altogether.

The park was extremely crowded. People were pushing, sweating, fainting. There were some fans in certain areas, but other areas had none. The number of staff was far too low, and they were clearly overwhelmed.

When I asked an employee why I had to queue with everyone else despite having a hotel booking, he told me our booking didn’t include Ladies’ Day. I showed him proof of the conversation with Jumeirah. He asked to take a screenshot. I agreed, but insisted I wouldn’t pay again. Eventually, after checking with another staff member, he confirmed I was right, and we were allowed entry. He was helpful and gave us bracelets, but it was already too late—the crowd was unbearable and emergency responders were helping people fainting inside.

My sister was still at the ticket counter, unaware we were already inside. She asked the person in front why the process was so slow. The guest replied: “The employee is trying to sell me fast track and other offers, but I just want to buy a regular ticket.”

Meanwhile, people outside were suffering in the heat and being pushed around.

Then, when my daughter’s bracelet didn’t scan properly, a Filipina staff member screamed at her publicly. I told her to call my daughter back instead of yelling—she was under pressure, I understand, but this was unacceptable.

We tried to rent a locker, but the store was boiling hot and another person fainted right there. We stood in line for a five-story water ride for more than one hour, with no fans, no line control, and no staff intervening. Guests were cutting the line constantly, using excuses like: • “My sister is up there” • “I just went to the bathroom” • “My things are upstairs” One girl later claimed her little sister was upstairs and needed help—we sympathized and let her through.

If just one staff member had been monitoring this, all this could’ve been avoided. We spoke to some of the exhausted staff—they told us they’d been working from 6 AM until 1 AM with no backup.

We also spent an hour waiting at the pizza counter, and by the time we reached the front, everything was sold out. There was just one flavor of ice cream left.

We left at 12:30 AM, completely drained. We paid for a full evening but only managed two rides the entire night.

I’ve visited Yas Waterworld before—on a busy day—and the difference is shocking. Yas was organized, well-cooled, and efficient.

⸝

I say all this as a long-time, loyal guest of Jumeirah Group. I’ve been staying in Jumeirah hotels for over 14 years, and I book with them every single year.

This wasn’t even my first time experiencing Wild Wadi’s disorganization. I visited eight years ago and walked out halfway through the queue in frustration.

I came back this time only for my daughter, hoping things had changed. But this experience was even worse than before.

It’s heartbreaking to say—but I will never return to...

The backdrop of Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Hotel looks really cool. It's a small water park, so I liked not getting greedy to run around and try this and that. I experienced all the rides peacefully. The most dangerous slide, which gave the best experience was The Jumeirah Sceirah, which is the tallest and fastest free-fall water slide outside of North and South America. Rising to 33 m (108 ft) with riders reaching speeds up to 80 km/h (50 mph). The food is cheaper compared to the other water parks in town and I had gone with my wife and 5yrs old daughter, got a 85aed all you can eat meal at the ticket counter and it was a good deal - when we buy this, we can have the food in the list every half an hour. There is greek salad, chicken wrap (which wasn't good), fries, chicken beef and vegetable burgers, beef hotdog, chicken nuggets and corn dogs (kids meal) and a soft drink. We took chance and ate every 45 mins.

Now, coming to the bad part (though I understand the reason why they do that).... I had won 2 passes to wild wadi and October was my daughter birthday month. Called the call center asked them if my daughter gets a free entry, we were told yes. We went the next day and when we presented the passes and her Emirates id (as a proof of her burthday), we were told that we can't go in as we have to buy 3 tickets if the person having his/her birthday should be allowed. We were kind of disappointed, but then we met a family of 4 who were getting in to the ticket queue, we asked them if they could include their tickets so that our daughter could get in free, they said it's not a big deal. Went through the queue, when the family presented, we were told that our daughter couldn't go in as the family had bought the tickets online and the 3 tickets should be bought on the counter so as to let go the birthday..... We felt angry on the call center staff and disappointed at the ticket counter staffs, but them realised, what if every expat in the UAE with his/her birthday gets in freely....

Another bad thing, which happens at every place in the UAE nowadays. They allow apple mobiles with their ultra clear cameras and don't allow the useless insta 360 and Gopros telling the cameras are not allowed. It sounds really silly. I don't know when this ignorance will go away. They are making movies nowadays with an apple camera and they can't make one with the insta360, stop stopping people with this useless camera (I have one and I was told I can't use it)

So overall the experience was good minus the hiccups in...
