Loud EVERY NIGHT, Uncomfortable, and Unresponsive Management – Avoid this Apartment if You Value Sleep

If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, look elsewhere. This apartment is directly above a bar that plays live music until 3 or 4 a.m. every night. The noise makes it nearly impossible to get any rest, so unless you’re here purely to party and don’t mind paying for it, this isn’t the place for you.

The Sleeping Situation: The bed is far too small for two people (only 120cm wide), and the sofa bed is even worse—uncomfortable and nowhere near suitable for two people. We booked for three guests, yet the sofa bed wasn’t even prepared upon arrival.

Cleanliness & Bathroom Issues: The apartment was not clean when we arrived, adding to our disappointment. The bathroom design is bizarre and nearly unusable; you literally have to sit sideways to use the toilet because of the cramped layout. It was so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving the apartment just to use the bathroom at nearby restaurants.

Poor Value and No Compensation: For the price, we expected much better. Despite these issues, management refused to offer any kind of compensation. The lack of responsiveness was frustrating and disappointing.

In short, I cannot recommend this apartment. Only consider it if your plans involve late-night partying louder than the bar noise below—otherwise, save yourself the trouble and book...

I recently stayed at this apartment, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The only positives were the location and the shower, which were both okay.

However, the double bed was far too narrow for two adults, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The sofa bed was even worse—it had to be pulled out manually and was very uncomfortable. While it might work for one person, two adults would struggle to sleep on it.

Additionally, the toilet was nearly unusable; you had to sit at an awkward angle, which was quite inconvenient.

The most frustrating issue was the noise. There’s a pub directly below the apartment that plays live music every night until at least 1 AM. No amount of earplugs helped, as the bass was so loud that the floor vibrated. Sleep was impossible before 1 AM, and had we known about this beforehand, we would have definitely chosen a different place. Despite reporting the issue on the first night, the management offered no assistance.

Given the high price of the stay, these issues are simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and...

I'm shocked at the low review average here - Trip Advisory reviewed much higher as did Booking.com. So I was a little nervous. But the place was fab. Couldn't ask for an easier location in the middle of so many lovely restaurants, bars, and cafes.

The apartment was clean, modern looking, and well appointed. Loved the piles of extra pillows and towels. And thoughtful touches like ear plugs, tea and cookies. Plenty of outlets too including USB-C.

Bed was perhaps a tad bit small had I been traveling with my spouse but that's being nitpicky. And it was perfect for just me.

I had ZERO noise issues though in fairness I was there for work and up quite late in the evening for events. But I don't think I heard a peep in the evenings or mornings and wasn't wearing the earplugs.
