The Dunes — Restaurant in England

It was a lovely meal and the service was very good. The staff who were working when we were there were very pleasant and friendly and they were all dressed in suitable clothes for their job. They all acted in a professional manner .

The only thing that I could criticise is that the decor could do with a bit of a lift. It was nice but it was a bit too old, in my opinion it just needs to be a bit brighter than it is .

We got talking to a couple who were having a drink and I thought that they were regulars in the pub. They were very pleasant and friendly and very talkative and we were very happy to make a conversation with them because they were very pleasant and I hope that they are in the pub the next time we are going to be able to get to go there for our lunch out

All in all we had a wonderful day and thanks to all the staff for making our trip out for lunch an enjoyable experience and we WILL BE HAPPY TO RETURN FOR OUR LUNCH AT THE DUNES, LYTHAM...

I visited here last week for tea with my little girl; it was a clean pub with a friendly atmosphere and brilliant staff! I had a burger which came with fries but I opted for a jacket potato instead which was no bother at all to do. For my little girl I chose to do the meal deal which came with a main, pudding & a drink, with so many different options she was spoilt with choice! The highlight of my visit was one of the bar staff coming over and asking my little girl if she wanted a colouring sheet and crayons to do whilst waiting for our food to arrive. Avoid at all costs. Exterior unkempt, they can't even be bothered to sweep up the leaves or spray the weeds. Upholstery inside is ripped revealing the foam rubber. Plaster loose around bay window. General signs of neglect. Menu and externally displayed food and drink offers not available when ordering. E.G. lunchtime offer of a sandwich, chips and drink for £7.99 lists Greene King IPA and Strongbow cider but neither are ever available at the bar. This is surely misleading if not an infringement of the advertising code of practice.
