You get what you pay for, and £50 each with breakfast is great value in London. However rooms and TV very small, corridors need a good clean and breakfast area is small as well. Staff all friendly though and only a few minute walk to either Queensway or Bayswater Underground. Avoid room 7 as it's right next to the lift which is in constant use. Shower very good. Great as a base and if you don't spend to much time in your room.

Good location, breakfast not bad, bathroom clean. But room was pretty small, almost no place for the bags, nowhere to unpack our stuff. Room for three, but it was really a small room for two with one extra small bed squeezed in the space between the double bed an the window.

I stayed in the Reem Hotel in London with my wife and two children (age 10 and 12) for a short three day vacation. We booked the Reem Hotel because of its convenient location (centrally located near Kensington Gardens) and its affordable price. ||||The staff of the hotel was very friendly, and the location very convenient indeed, centrally located in London and, very important, within 5 minutes walking distance of the nearest metro station. Breakfast was included in the price. The breakfast room is quite small, so it quickly gets crowded to the point that you have to wait for a table to become available. However, we had an early start each day so we always found a table. Breakfast itself was quite good. It consisted of rather extensive breakfast buffet with good quality bread, breakfast cereals, fruit, eggs, bacon, etc. ||||So why the two star rating then? The size of the room! We booked what was sold to us as a family room that would fit four people. And it did. Barely. Very barely. As a European I am used to small hotel rooms and of course for the price we paid we did not expect to stay in a presidential suite. However, we did expect enough room to offer very basic comfort. Unfortunately, this room did not.||||The room contained one double bed of 160 cm. That is the bare minimum to share a bed if you are in a good, solid relationship (which fortunately, my wife and I are). Then it contained a sleeper sofa that was at most 140 cm wide. Which is really too small to fit two adults even if you are madly in love. On top of that the sleeper sofa, which was permanently extended, was skewed, so that the person lying towards the lower edge of the bed had to struggle a) not to fall out and b) to keep the person lying 'up-hill' from him/her from rolling over him/her. You can imagine that two children sharing such a bed does not work unless you want a constant fight for the entire night. And because the sleeper sofa really could not in any practical way fit two adults, we ended up splitting up with me and my son sleeping in one bed and my wife and daughther sharing the other; swapping from sleeper sofa to real bed each night to share the burden of sleepless, uncomfortable nights. ||||In addition, the sleeper sofa and bed together covered ca. 90% of the floor area so there was virtually no room to place luggage, clothing etc. And then there was the bathroom. While o.k. in itself, it had a half frosted glass sliding door to separate it from the room because the limited space in the room did not allow a real door to be placed. This meant that whenever you sat on the toilet, all other people in the room had front row seats to watch you do your business. Now, even when you are a close, happy family like we are, that feels a bit uncomfortable to say the least. ||||So all in all I would certainly not recommend booking a family room in this hotel. Unless your family consists of only two people. Then you could fold-in the sleeper sofa and create a bit more space. The room would still be small and the separation to the bathroom inconvenient. Of course what the Reem hotel really should do, is stop selling this room as a family room. but instead sell it as a double room that fits 2 adults max. and replace the sliding glass door to the bathroom with a real, solid door. This would be possible if the sleeper sofa is not used as a...

After leaving Paris and traveling to London I had a room booked at this hotel for 3 nights. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service by those working at the hotel.||I found our room brightly lit with lots of natural light, quiet for sleeping and very clean with good sized bathroom with great lighting. This was very different from my stay in Paris where I got no sleep and was in a cramped and dark room with poor lighting and people arguing outside at all hours of the night. I felt at home at the Reem. The area of the hotel is a short walk to the Bayswater train station along with lots of places to eat so you don’t have to walk far. Luis was the gentleman who checked us in and he was very professional, courteous, and highly helpful. Based upon my stay here I would return again if I venture back to the area...
