About a year ago I had been to this store after seeing billboards advertising that this place has "1,000's of guns in stock!". In reality, they had about 100 used guns and maybe 200 new ones. They certainly had more guns than your average pawn shop, about as many new guns as your average small gun store, and significantly more used guns than your average pawn shop or gun store, but nowhere near the "1,000's" they suggested on their billboards. The store was pretty disorganized. I didn't have much money at the time nor did I know as much about firearms as I do now, but my impression of the place wasn't bad. I came back about a year after my first visit with some money, a few guns I didn't want anymore, more knowledge about firearms, and an appreciation of how much more organized the store was the second time around.

I showed them the guns I didn't want anymore and asked what they would be willing to offer both for an outright sale and for trade in value. Having asked the same questions about the same guns at my local pawn shops I had all but given up hope of getting anything even close to a decent value for them, so I was honestly surprised at how reasonable their offers were. Just as an example, I had a Ruger Vaquero which the pawn shops near me wouldn't offer anything more than $300, whereas Adel offered $400 to buy it and $450 in trade in value. I ended up giving them the guns I had for the trade in value, grabbing a Remington 870 wingmaster that they had, and leaving there with more money than what I came in with. We come from a long line of avid hunters and fishermen as a lot of you have too . So please give me a moment to share this . My dad is dealing with a long line of health issues to the point that everyday is a blessing let alone every fishing or hunting trip . I've visited this store several times over the past year and have been impressed with the availability , prices , and customer service . So I've been telling my parents about this place trying to get them to come with me and I finally got them to go with me . Lo and behold my dad found this hunting rifle that he's dreamed about since he was a young man and bought it . This is only part of the story the other part is the FANTASTIC sales rep. John who took the time to set this rifle up to my dad's need and preference John was very skilled , professional and probably most important COMPASSIONATE . my wife and i went there today to find a pair of boots.we had the worst customer experience out of any store we have visited.we never were greeted or asked by all employees that walked by if we needed help.when we asked someone for help we asked if they only had what was on the floor or if they had overstovk in the back,they replied only whats on the floor,theydid not even offer to order our size.as we were just completely fed up with our experience in their over priced store, we go for selection of merchandise.after we left i called to speak to a manager when they asked me to hold because he was on the other line i waited ,a gentleman answered the phone and i asked is this a manager his reply was close enough.i explained our experience to him,his reply was thanks for letting him know of the situation,not even an apology or anything.he didnt even have a response to me when i told him that we frequent there and that we will never be back.we wont ever go back to this place no...
