Anytime Fitness — Local services in Adel

Bulbs in the tanning bed have not been changed since the last (original) owner. When I asked two months ago when they would be changed, I was told "in May". They are old and have way to many hours on them. This is not acceptable. I have been a member since 2018 and this is the worst I have seen it. The tracker has to be way over the lifespan and the bulbs are dark around the ends. I have worked at/managed a tanning bed and this is a sign of old bulbs. The gym recently changed the scan reader but can't change the tanning bulbs.

The massage table sits unused because you can only use one or the other in 24 hour period. Most big gyms allow both. Wife and I relocated to Adel last year and was looking for a new gym. Met Chase who was working the office. Was very nice to deal with. We waiting couple of months to get settled in our new home. Went back to to the gym to join. There was a new guy and several gals sitting in the office. To make things short, it quickly appeared I was interfering with whatever they were doing and had little interest in signing us up. Good selection, embarrassingly small amount of plates. Not even enough plates to do a set of leg press. Good luck sharing. Best get here when I did, when no one else is around.

Update- I’m back almost a year after initial visit. Still too few plates. I can also see I’m not the only person who’s complained about the plates. I’m lucky to be able to show up in the middle of the night. I would not want this to be my main. I certainly wouldn’t be an Anytime customer if this was the only thing I...
