I love T Mobile and have been a customer 25+ years. Live in the area of N.A. and glad you have a store near me. Several times I have gone into this store and had a bad experience. I'm looking to buy a new phone but I stopped in to get one of the free Tuesday item's. No one in store but me a workers. The dark skinned girl with brads was looking at her phone and the guy was cleaning windows. I asked her if they had any of the free items left? She replied I'm not sure but I don't think so. I said "you don't think so or you know you don't if you have any?" So I asked her to go check please. She walked to the back and came right back and said no. I'm looking to buy a new phone. I started looking at the cell phones on display and wanted to look at one that wasn't lit up. I asked her while she was doing something on her phone if they had another phone like one on display that would work? She said no. I asked when they were getting another one in she said I don't know. Meantime another customer came in and said can you help me? She replied in a little bit. She had no other customers she was helping and continued to look at her phone. The lady after waiting about 10 minutes ask her again when can you help me? She said what do you need? I'm not sure what she needed but I asked the guy at the doorway cleaning windows about a phone nearby and a question about a phone He was responding to me when the Customer walked out saying to him this place has bad Customer Service. The guy said to me I don't know what that lady is talking about. I said to him I do it's not you she's talking about it's the girl at the desk looking at her phone. Then I left. I went in there about 6 months ago to ask a question about a function on my phone from T-Mobile. No one knew the answer and I asked if they had a glass screen shield that would fit my phone but they did not. This store needs to hire employees who want to help customers. When I decide on which new phone I'm going to get I will be going to another store location further away to help me transfer my files from my current phone to a new phone. And go to a store where they care about their customers and are knowledgeable about their products and willing to assist me with my purchase. I wouldn't trust this girl to do anything important like that. Someone in charge needs to over see the employees in that store and give them training. Also keep in stock item's people want to protect their new phone. The employees in the Augusta, Ga. stores seem so much more knowledgeable about the products they sell. And the Customer Service is far better than this store has ever been. Oct. 2024 just found out this store is just a franchise and not run by the good T Mobile Store on Washington...
Read moreHorrible experience. Went into store to get a new phone. Representative- seem like she was just there. Not to assist with selecting phone or anything. Just there. Didn't go over options, so I just selected the closest phone that would satisfy my needs. She went to the back and got a phone. Did explain the features of the phone- just got phone and I figured she was activating the phone. Had to pry things out of her about basic features. Just a very cold and unwelcoming feature. No suggestions on protecting the phone. Just rung up the phone and I just needed a phone. Considered it mediocre service. Until I got it home and tried to make a call. Didn't work. Went back in the store and store manager said it was a $50 fee to return the phone. Was just in store and pretty sure he remember me because it wasn't busy and receipt has time I purchase the phone. Manager was very condescending and was over talking me. For example I inquire about the activation fee that was never mention during the purchase of phone, instead of being empathy or apologies- he chose to talk down on me. Replying that activation fees been going on for years and their cheaper then competitors. I said since the phone wasn't activated and I had to come back can it be waived. He was like no.
So overall very poor service in my opinion. Original representative that was very unhelpful and not able to do her job. Store manager that was very condescending and never even acknowledged that the error was on their part.
Glad it's no contract. Will be looking for another mobile phone provider soon. 15 years customer been to store several time. Great experience everytime. But this time was so horrible that I would highly suggest you seek...
Read moreWORST PLACE EVER! Been scammed by these people twice now. The dude who tried helping me, literally made me feel so uncomfortable and when me and my boyfriend walked in, we told them what we were trying to do, he acted like he understood, then next thing I know, he just puts us on a plan without consulting us about it and put protective ins on a SIM card FOR A PHONE WE DONT HAVE, and his exact words, â I put yall on this plan and put protective ins on this so my commission doesnât get docked. â And I should have known from the beginning that, that was something sketchy. Well, I went back there this morning, to return what I had done over the weekend, for them to tell me itâs non refundable. NOWHERE IN THE REFUND POLICY DID NOT SAY IT WAS NON REFUNDABLE. When I had asked him about it, and told him it wasnât in the refund policy, he said â yeah it doesnât have it in there but itâs store policy and itâs non refundable â and like I said, this isnât the first time they have done this to me. But I gave them benefit of the doubt. After this, I will never use Tmobile ever again. All they do is lie, give you the run around, and apparently just put you on a plan for their commission purposes. All I was trying to do was move from a family plan to my own plan. I didnât even need an extra 3rd line, but thatâs what I ended up with because of the dude working there. Needless to say, I called customer care and they gave me my refund since it was not in the refund policy. (: but we will be switching phone...
