Me and my family have been staying at this hotel on/off since 2022, and we have had problems after problems with two staff members and the way they have treated me and my wife. For one, the black lady BRIDGETTE, has been asking me and my wife for money, rides and constantly asking us to go pick up food for her and we finally spoke up and said something the assistant manager Ben did have a talk with her, then she started threatening me and my wife. Not to mention how she had me take a gift bag to a room and then it ended up being the wrong room. She gave me the key to go in there and everything! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Imagine sending a guest to do your job. Considering how heavy set she is, it definitely makes so much sense now. We brought the situation back up to Ben and he said he would have to have the general manager AMBER to handle the situation. So, we left it at that and then we booked for a day and then the manager decided to call my wife and tell us we were no longer welcome at the property due to "multiple occurrences with the staff members" EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THE GUESTS!!! Not counting how my kids had got just a few spots of chocolate on the rugged blanket they gave us due to them handing out cookies, they decided to ban us from using blankets (not to mention AMBER -the general manager-is the one who banned us from having blankets) Imagine going to a hotel being told you and your 3 kids would have to sleep in the cold because you couldn't have any blankets) With my wife being a manager at a Hilton property she does have the ability to several resources, this hotel is now being investigated by Allen Police Department and Hilton themself. Certainly not a good look! This hotel experience was the worst of the worst out of all the stays we ever experienced. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
I highly praise Ms. Tasia and Mr. Ben they were always very good to me...
Read moreWell, I was so excited to get home to give this place a 5 star reveiw! BUT I can't! I booked two rooms on the Hilton Honors App (one on my CC and one on my mom's CC) we were charged correctly the first time. After getting home and taking a look at our bank statements not only did they charge us correctly the first time, but charged not once more but 2 more additional times. Now the next part is definitely a learning opportunity for my 11 year old son, but still... He stayed in the room with my mom. He worked his but off at my sister's wedding and got $66.00 in tips from passing out waters, making coffee, etc. Of course he realized his dress pants were left in the room. Do you think they fessed up to having found the pants? NO. I pray that the person who took the money and the pants needed it and that it was a blessing to them. However, it caused strife in my family. As a member of Hilton, heck, even if I wasn't a member, ALL of this is unacceptable! As far as the room, it was clean the hot tub in our room was great! The front desk was great! My mom said the breakfast was pretty good. All good things! What makes this a two star is messing with people's money all the way around! That is wrong on so many levels! I really hope that they are working diligently to make ALL these...
Read moreGreat location for our activities. Another expected Hampton Inn with exception this is typical nicer than the older ones.
What takes this location over the top is Ezben!!! He deserves a hotel equivalent of the 3 Star Michelin for restaurants. Extremely pleasant and optimistic. He upgraded our room and placed us on the side facing the outlets as he said it would be quieter and to give my girls a little more room. This side was a boring side and I typically prefer the side looking at traffic or something scenic vs the back of buildings.
It was boring looking at the back of buildings.
That all changed when we had to run around town and when it was time to call it a night, I was more than appreciative of the room he picked out for us.
Nice, quiet and pleasantly peaceful. My girls had a blast in the room bouncing around(during the day).
Ezben's personality and nature is what turned a DFW metro traffic weekend mess into a tranquil stay.
Ezben is the epitome of what a person needs to aspire too.
Hilton take note - Ezben needs to be promoted through the ranks quickly so all Hilton employees can take note of Ezben's qualities to provide an exceptional experience for all...
