UPDATE: 1/28/21 Customer service confirmed an employee tested positive for COVID. Again, this was not shared publicly at this location or sent via the app (or a similar method) to inform customers who recently ate here. I am hoping no other employee or customer who was here during this time tested positive. ——————————— Sometime last week this location shut down without notice. Nothing was shared online, via the app, or posted on the door. I tried contacting corporate customer service TWICE with no response. In the current social climate we’re in I can only assume an abrupt closure would be due to an employee having COVID. It’s one thing having this happen and informing your customers in the interest of public health and safety, but not making a public statement seems deceitful...like they’re trying to hide. From what I am aware of, this happened this past summer and a former employee left because they were told to keep quiet about it. I go to this location almost every single day as a third party delivery driver and eat here personally once every couple of weeks. Hiding information like this or not being straightforward is hardly in line with their mission statement of “spreading MODness” and putting people first. Who knows how long this sick employee, or employees, were working here while it was open and potentially spreading it to others. Is this an assumption? Yes. But with the location not providing information or their corporate customer service, it’s not an outlandish assumption. Unless there is a change of management and policy at this location, I would not recommend eating here. The food may be good, but it’s not worth it if your health and those of your loved ones is put at risk.

UPDATE THE NEXT DAY: our leftovers tasted just great. Often when pizza reheated the crust gets hard but ours stayed soft. So no need to eat it all at one sitting. REVIEW: This is our first visit to this franchise and location in the area. We checked out the menu beforehand and knew we would get a 6" pizza each and split one salad. That was more than enough food for two seasoned citizens and we still had leftovers. Other customers ordered the regular sized pizza and must have been more hungry or took leftovers. The build your own is the best option for us. We got two different setups to experiment. We will try different combo next time and a different location to check things out. I took a bunch of interior photos so you can see the layout.

Completely unsatisfied with the customer service. The workers did not respect my time, the cashier/food prep person had to ask the young man to put my pizza in the over after I asked how long would it take to get ready. It would not have been a big deal, until he gave her a look as though she was bothering him when all he was doing was joking around with co-workers. I'm all about enjoying what you do and enjoying work, but customers standing right in your face time should be considered. Then this is what I paid for. I'm so disappointed 😞

Wow! Best Mod Pizza, EVER!!! I ordered a Jasper online with all my fav ingredients along with the No Name Cake and the newest addition, the Cream filled Orange fund raiser cake, not to forget the fresh fruit puree drink which was lightly sweetened. Everything was delicious, but let me leave this comment about the 11" gluten-free crust pizza I ordered. Well, the moment I received the order by the most friendly male staff who by the way were both fast, friendly and very helpful, but this pizza...OMG! When I arrived back in my vehicle, I opened the box and saw a huge arrangement of carefully crafted goodness then shortly after, the aroma of freshness filled the inside of the vehicle. I had to clutch my pearls Lol😄 Each topping was delicious and so fresh you could hear a snap when biting into an onion and the mushrooms looked like mushrooms instead of my having a question looming in my head whether or not that was a mushroom I just ate. Every topping was as fresh as picked straight from the garden, I am not kidding, this was the best Mod Pizza I have ever had in Texas, and the Gluten-Free crust was amazing! Other gluten-free crust taste old like you were the only one in weeks who ordered it, but this location managed to bake that crust to perfection. Everytime I visit Allen Outlet, I will make a point to have lunch at Mod.

I see why they received all those Stars, this location really takes pride in preparing a good pizza. Great pizza y'all!

God bless you...

We've eaten here once before and it was a decent experience, but this time the staff seemed to be irritable and possibly overworked.

We ordered two Mod-sized salads, but when we paid for our food, they charged us for 2 Mega-sized salads ($5.00 more each, or $10.00 more total) because they said the salads got too big and they had to use the larger mega-sized bowls to hold them. But they were the ones making the salad, not us, and we had asked for Mod size, not mega. It's not our fault if they put too much in. Also, only one salad was actually put into a mega bowl, the other was in a regular bowl. When I asked about this, they said they had run out of mega bowls, but the mod size bowl was very full so they counted it as mega anyway. MOD size bowls are 52 ounces as listed on the bottom of the bowl and mega are listed as 96 ounces - there's no way that bowl was overfilled to the point that it was somehow nearly twice as large as the bowl could even hold.

Anyway, we have a decent size family so I was expecting to spend about $60 (which is already much too high) but after tax it was $75. We definitely can't afford to eat here anymore, especially if they're going to charge us for...
