Their customer service is just awful. Went in with a master card gift card that had $200 on it. Was going to spend $188 on a purse after taxes, transaction goes through, says approved, i sign, then the cashier tells me the machine did not read the card. We try again, the machine says i now have insufficient funds. I look at my card balance, the card was wiped out of its total balance of $200 and i was left with NOTHING. No money and no purse. I was told the gift card company would be issuing me my refund in 3-5 days. Waited just for no money to be put back onto my card. Call the Gift Card company and they tell me the transaction for $200 went through and Tory Buch has to issue me the refund. I call and ask when a manager will be in store so i could speak in person and the manager insisted we speak over the phone. Manager had no idea what i was talking about and was acting like i was making it all up. She did however explain that she will email corporate after she had laughed at me when i was explaining that the person who gave me the gift card was upset. I call my dad as i am a 19 yr old and i knew they were not taking me seriously. My dad calls them asking them how they could possible steal $200 from a 19 year old college student and not want to do the most they can to help me. Of course after my dad, an adult, speaks to them and i get a call from an apologetic manager Ashley who informed me of what was going on and that i would be getting my money back. Finally someone spoke to me in a respectful manner and understood this mistake was not mine but was Tory Burchs. Next day i receive a call from a very nice man but i did not get his name. He informed me that corporate had given me my refund. I finally do not have to deal with Tory Burch anymore. Sadly this was my favorite store to shop at. This Allen location is embarrassing and if i ever do shop at Tory Burch again, i will definitely keep shopping at the San Marcos outlet where i have never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I went into the Tory Burch outlet because my husband a week prior had purchased me the "Bryant" cross body. It looked similar to the "Fleming" that I actually wanted, but the Fleming is not available in the outlet stores. When I entered the store I was greeted by a very helpful sales associate, I told her what I was looking for and she informed me that they did not carry the bag. She suggested some other bags that were similar but they were true outlet quality and I decided to pass. The sales associate suggested that instead of returning the bag, that maybe I should get a merchandise credit to spend at the Tory Burch retail location in North Park or Highland Park. I agreed and we proceeded to the counter to return the item. The associate behind the counter named Emily took my receipt from the sales associate that was helping me, and told me that the receipt that I provided was not for the bag that I was returning. I said to her "excuse me" and she repeated the accusation. She did not at one time look in the bag to confirm. After I told her she needed to get her facts in order before she accused someone of being dishonest is when she finally looked in the bag and said "Oh, yes it is". No apology or anything, She handed the receipt back to the sales associate that was assisting me originally and walked away from the counter. I spoke to the assistant manager Dee who was completely unfazed by the encounter and what I told her. She told me that the manager Ashley would be back in the store in two days so no need to call tomorrow. Needless to say...I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off I love Tory and Iāve been to this location a few times, usually very pleasant.
Upon arrival I stood in line and had a very good conversation with the door attendant as I waited to be granted permission inside.
When I got inside, I was NOT greeted or asked for assistance. The woman in the back of the store asked individuals around her if they needed help, and walked right past me. I honestly feel it had to do with my appearance, as I was dressed down due to coming from work. As I walked through other sections of the store, NO ONE asked me did I need help or offer assistance. Others were immediately approached and helped. I had to walk up to the lady in the back who initially ignored me and ask for assistance. I went in with intention on spending more than I did but I honestly had to get out of there. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I usually donāt purchase items from places with bad customer service as Iāve worked in retail before, BUT I love Tory and my mom who I purchased a gift for does as well. Anyway, do better please. Treat everyone equal. This made an everlasting impression on me, and Iām in no rush to return with service like that. Also, the store was NOT busy, so please do not try to attempt to justify the poor service that was...
