I will start by saying that this one star does not reflect any of the services provided by almost all of the front desk staff - Tiffany, the first person we interacted with this morning, was exceptionally polite and tried her best to be helpful. Honestly, five stars for her; she was great. Specifically this review is for the morning manager on duty on 11/11/24.
The complaint we made was about the check in experience. My boyfriend was paying for the room in cash, which we realized was probably not very common at this hotel so he called first to make sure it would go smoothly and that he had all the information he needed to avoid an awkward and embarrassing experience at the desk. He provided my credit card number to reserve the room, and specifically made sure that since that was done, all he needed to do was show up with cash to pay for the room. He was told that that would be okay. Hotel policy was communicated poorly in this conversation, and he was not informed that he physically needed a card at the front desk to be able to get the room keys. He needed to call me when I was at work to provide my credit card information again so he would be able to check in. This was extremely inconvenient for me, and meanwhile he was stuck in a crowded lobby feeling very uncomfortable and embarrassed. While this was a simple mistake, it had a huge impact on our stay and definitely started us off on the wrong foot.
When we brought this up during checkout, Tiffany immediately apologized for the situation and when I asked for some money off the room to make up for it, she said of course and went to get her manager. This is where things immediately took a turn. I will say that my boyfriend and I probably do not look like most of the guests who stay there, but we were there for a special romantic weekend and still deserve the same treatment that every guest receives. We did not receive this from the manager. I basically had to argue with her. She was rude and condescending and just kept repeating the policy to me. I repeatedly told her that I understood the policy and while it was completely reasonable, it had been poorly communicated which led to a horrible check in experience. After several minutes of this repetitive and circular conversation, she finally begrudgingly offered a credit at the restaurant. At this point we did not feel like spending anymore time there, and again asked for money off the room. Finally she snapped at us âokayâ and did give us some money back. She never once apologized for the situation or showed any empathy for an objectively bad experience, and I strongly feel that this was because of our appearance. When paying this much money for a hotel room, I expect great service. I have honestly received better service at Motel 6. We were paying guests just like everyone else there and were treated very poorly for voicing a valid complaint. This experience with the manager made our checkout experience even worse than checking in had been and we left feeling anxious and upset. Next time we take a staycation, it will certainly not be at Weberâs.
Also, their hot tub was filthy and had a visible grey film on its walls. For the price, I also would at least expect clean facilities and was disappointed on this...
Read moreNOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL. It is very apparent this is more of an adult only hotel, or at least should be advertised that way. A lot of my frustrations could be from not having clear expectations. I had a really hard time deciding what to rate this experience. I will start with the positives because there certainly are some. Rooms are updated, clean and itâs so convenient having the restaurant right on site. Between our family group of 11, we had 3 rooms booked, one being a suite. We also made reservations for our group to eat dinner at Webers. Server and food were amazing but unfortunately they couldnât accommodate our 6 other cousins who live in the area and wanted to join us for dinner because they were too full. However when we got to our table (reserved weeks in advance in a private ish area to back of restaurant) there was so much more room and we could have easily fit everyone and still been comfortable. The customer service wt hotel was disappointing. We live out of state and decided to do our family Christmas here this year as AA is a perfect point for all. We tried to open gifts outside of the gated pool area sitting at tables and were yelled at by staff that we couldnât have outside stuff here other than our room. I even tried to explain that it wasnât food or drink, just gifts, the girl still was extremely rude. Then about 15 minutes after this the bartender at the cabana said it was ok to open gifts but by that point we had already carried everything up the 4 flights of stairs and crammed into one of our rooms to be together to open gifts. I was mostly frustrated because when we called to book I was very clear that we were celebrating a family Christmas and not once did anyone mention anything. We werenât trying to be cheap about anything. We had a tab open at the bar and bought drinks all evening. Spent nearly $700 for dinner after tip. Again, booked 3 rooms totaling close to $1,000. The minute the clock turned 9pm we were screamed at by some curly haired woman (literally screaming at us) to get our kids out of pool now. We were trying to dry off at our table outside of the gated pool area before going to the room and she wouldnât leave, continued to harass us and literally call us liars for thinking it was 9:30pm because thatâs what the guy told us. The other frustrating part is that while we abided by the no snacks part, we had a 3 and 5 year old. We had full intentions to order food from cabana but it didnât open until 5pm and kids get hungry. Their suggestion was we walk dripping wet from the pool to restaurant (which is way on other side of facility) to get food/drinks. We come to AA 4-5 times per year given this is where Iâm from, love high end restaurants/hotels but will not be back to this place. We have felt extremely uncomfortable our entire stay and simply just want to enjoy family time for...

Elizabeth and the other lady who checked me in were very polite and welcoming. However, I felt the check-in process lacked important details. I wasnât given the Wi-Fi code, there were no directions to my room, and no heads-up that the hot tub was out of orderâwhich was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.
My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub together to ease sore muscles, so to find out it wasnât working was extremely frustrating. When I asked about it, I was told it might heat up the next day depending on previous guestsâ usage. That kind of information should absolutely be shared upfrontâespecially when itâs a key amenity advertised online.
To make matters worse, around 10:40 p.m., there were underage teenage girls in the hot tub, even though thereâs supposed to be an age restriction. When I brought this up to Elizabeth, her response was, âItâs supposed to be.â A male staff member did go back and ask them to leave after confirming they were under 18âbut with three employees at the front desk, I wouldâve expected someone to be actively monitoring that area.
Another issue: the Wi-Fi was really choppy. It kept connecting and disconnecting from my boyfriendâs PlayStation 5, and was also jumping on and off my phone and Bluetooth speaker. Super inconvenient and not what youâd expect for a hotel at this price point.
Also, the carpet in the room was worn and dirty, and while the bathroom looked recently renovatedâcomplete with Bluetooth mirrors and light-up featuresâthe rest of the room was very basic. The king-size bed, two nightstands, and outdated entertainment cabinet gave off a standard, older hotel vibe. It honestly felt like two different time periods between the bathroom and the rest of the room.
I also feel that if a major amenity like the jacuzzi isnât working, the hotel should either clearly disclose that ahead of time or adjust the rate accordingly. Itâs misleading to advertise it as working when it clearly isnât.
On a more positive note, the housekeeper was super sweet and the bed was comfortableâso if thatâs worth anything, I appreciated those touches.
All in all, while the staff were friendly and some features were nice, the experience didnât meet my expectations. This was okay but not for four days. I wonât be returning, and I donât believe I should have paid full price for a stay where the jacuzzi was unusable.
Edit (3.27.2025):
When I checked out this morning, a lady by the name of Carolynâwhom Iâm assuming is the managerârefunded a portion of my stay due to the inconvenience with the amenities. This was incredibly thoughtful of her, and I genuinely appreciate her for listening to my concerns and taking them seriously. Her professionalism and kindness didnât go unnoticed.
Overall rating: 3.5 to 4...
