Did I order wrong stuff? Maybe.

Solid 2.5 stars. Not an authentic Chinese, nor a great American Chinese either. Since I did not dine in, I skip the atmosphere/service/presentation

I got an egg drop soup, fried rice and Sichuan shrimp.

Egg drop soup; it’s my preference, but for an American Chinese food I expect it to be thick. It’s kinda bland.

Fried rice; another meh. Doesn’t taste too awful, but not fantastic either. It’s there and edible because it’s at least seasoned.

Sichuan Shrimp;I order this whenever I go to new American Chinese places to see even if they care shrimps (cuz lots of people here just tends to order orange chicken or something). The result, to me, was they don’t. Shrimp size was good, but texture was off and simply did not taste great. The broccoli was most edible element in that stir fry and that was not even amazing. Not to mention it wasn’t spicy at all.

Do I return? : NO. I could find better American...

I ordered lunch size cashew chicken, fried dumplings and sweet donuts. My companion ordered lunch portion Mongolian beef. The cashew chicken was very good, lots of veges and fresh cashews. The dumplings and donuts were good. The spring roll that was included with the lunch portions, were not very good. The filling was mushy and tasteless, the consistency of mashed bananas. My companion said it tasted "off". I didn't eat mine. His Mongolian beef was chewy, fatty and tasteless. He doused it their red pepper sauce... which he raved about how spicy it was... to make the dish edible. We always try new places and wants to support local, family owned restaurants, but I don't think we will be returning...

Very poor customer service. I arrived to pick up an order, and there were two of us in line. I told the staff member I was there for a pick-up, but she didn’t even ask for my name—just brushed me off with, ‘It’ll be up shortly.’ I waited for 10 minutes, and the whole time I could see two bags sitting there ready. Only after she finally asked for my name did she hand me my food, which had clearly been ready the entire time.

If you’re running a business, take care of the customers who are already there instead of just worrying about taking new orders. Customers are what keep your business going—every single one of us should be treated...
