Wiseguy Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Pizza is great- as a NY transplant this is the closest you will get. My issue however, is with the service and management. We ordered delivery- with $120 of food. They delivered two of the wrong cheesecakes- worth $22- no big deal, it happens. We called to let them know the error and to request a refund- the girl who answered the phone said she had to give it to the manager to handle. Two days and six phone calls later the manager, who we never spoke to- told the girl he refunded us. We were never refunded- and after six phone calls I was sick of dealing with it. How hard is it to issue a refund? How difficult is it for a manager to follow up- at the minimum with an email. Incredibly rude in my opinion- especially with the amount we spent. What happened to the days of decent service?

Update- made the mistake of ordering again- this time they didn’t send us an entire $30 pizza- they are terrible- never again will I order from here! They offered no solution but to call the manager (who I guess is never actually there)- and again got the same girl who was supposedly talking to the manager- this girl is pocketing the money for herself. I will be calling the better business bureau and filling a police report for theft. It’s not a coincidence this girl has “handled” it both times and we never received refunds.

EDIT: received a call from the manager who was supposedly sending us the missing pizza and refunding us- but didn’t receive either of those things. I just noticed multiple other people not being refunded in the reviews- these people are running a scam and pocketing our money. Will definitely be contacting the BBB and our credit...

Pizza compared to DC location (4th St NW) is night and day. DC waaay better. Put it this way DC location open til like 3/4am so think drunk pizza right...nope you can go there 1pm and is fresh NY style.. atleast pre pandemic thats how it was.

The Pentagon City location caters to the mall traffic and office workers and it is Drunk food pizza ALL day. Never looks fresh always looks days old pizza . Not sure if they loading it with too much sauce or what but its disgusting.

Update: 2023 I visited the DC 4th St NW location for a couple of slices one evening and man!! I couldn't describe what I saw being served to people... straight ratchet dried out pizza looking weeks old! Pizza stands almost falling over in the case and the workers literally standing shoulder to shoulder no room to work.

An employee had just taken a full pie out of the oven I said give me two slices please from that one...and I watched him like a hawk to make sure I got them. Disgusting..there was a weird oil slime on the pizza 🍕..could have been olive oil which caused tip of the triangle to literally flop....dripping with whatever it was. Then the entire toppings slide off into the box. Zero flavor on the pizza!

Sorry but Wise Guys Pizza has deteriorated I don't feel it's safe to eat the food anymore. It appears there is also an operations issue with employees being overcrowded at...

Last night my buddy and I stopped in on our way home from the stadium. We each ordered a slice of pizza and soda. The pizza was not great. It was soggy. I picked it up and the pepperoni slid off. The counter was sticky. As we were about to leave I wanted to use the bathroom...looked around and didn't see a sign then my friend reminded me that the white kid that walked in off the street, didn't place an order was allowed to go behind the counter to go to the bathroom. So I asked the lady running the counter. She told me they didn't have a bathroom. I asked, "you let the white guy use the bathroom and you won't let me?" She rang up a customer then I asked again. She then said that I made a big deal because I said he was white.I said "he was." My friend who is white pointed it out as well. The guy didn't ordered anything and I reminded her of that and she lied that he ordered something. I looked over to my friend and he confirmed that was not true. She also said that he was in hurry. In any case. If you are white and need to use the bathroom without placing an order then stop by this place. If you are not...place an order for a soggy pizza which will make you hit the bathroom but then be denied...come to this place. If you want to be smart and get the best bang for your buck with the option to use the bathroom...then go...
