Wheeler/Stallard Museum — Attraction in Aspen

I don't often do museums. We went on Friday Oct. 15, 2021. Had the extreme pleasure of meeting Mrs.Click at the front desk. After an excellent introduction instruction on how best to enjoy the exhibits, she sent us up to enjoy the many offerings of historical Aspen. We have never been to Aspen so it was very interesting. Always a fun time, and even though I was born and raised in Aspen, and lived here for 34 years, I always learn many new things. Their exhibits are well-thought out, timely, and interesting. The staff is absolutely stellar! Recommend to anyone wanting to go a little deeper into the Aspen story than just skiing or cruising downtown. They also do amazing tours in town! Every museum deserves a guide like Suzie, she was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable and has officially ruined future tours for me coz I'd be hard pressed to find a guide who can live up to her standard.

The museum itself was gorgeous, has a restroom, you can touch a surprising amount of stuff (and sit on the chairs (!)). I'd budget at least an hour to check it out. At $10,...
