Blanco Riverside Getaway Cottages & RV — Hotel in Blanco

This place was dreamy to stay at. We took a mini honeymoon in Blanco and stayed in Villa #4, and are so happy we chose this place. Check-in was super easy and contactless, as they have digital keypads that can be locked/unlocked with a personalized code. The style inside the room is gorgeous and reminiscent of Italian architecture, and it is very clean and spacious. It is clear they put a lot of care into the style and décor of the room. The kitchen area had a mini fridge with a small freezer with ice in it, microwave, coffeemaker, ice bucket, and was stocked with coffee, dishes, and utensils. There is a large bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, closet, and long countertops. The bathtub is very large with jets. The king-size bed had a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The TV had satellite channels and we had no problem finding something to watch. The balcony is big and overlooks like the nice courtyard, and has a beautiful view of the Blanco River. The location is ideal - it is in a nice and quiet area, sits next to a delicious restaurant, backs up to the Blanco State Park, and is minutes away from downtown Blanco. I thought this place was the cutest and most chill. I had booked the villa four for 1night before Memorial Day and it was amazing I was so content with my purchase I was surprisingly shocked that the rest of the rooms weren’t booked?? But it was great regardless because all to ourselves. I had also brought a pit because I didn’t know the patio had two, also this room did came with a small mini fridge, was just perfect. FYI you do have to pay $5 per person for insurance purpose to the rangers in a booth across from the cottages in order to get the gate code??? Since the property sits across a park this was confusing to me?? but I did not fuzz and agreed to pay. Regardless the room was clean and if you are the type of people like me who can’t sleep in a soft soft mattress prepare yourself to wake up with sore shoulders and arms. Overall I enjoyed my time here everyone was so nice the river complimented the hot Texas weather. Last thing I remember was soaking next to the water with my feet inside and tiny lil fish surrounding my feet felt like tiny little kisses lol. I recommend this place 100% I’ll definitely will be returning. PS.you can baaaaarely hear the highway there was no issue, I state this because I know it can make it or break it for some...

We just left the cottage yesterday and we’re already planning to go back next summer ! My children enjoyed it so much ! They called it “our lil house “ . Getting up in the morning to nature , a beautiful view and a hot cup of coffee... you cant beat that ! They have a grill at every cottage . My husband grilled some good fajitas after an awesome day of swimming in the river . It was clean and so quiet ! We definitely needed a getaway from our daily routine . The river is safe for the kids because the water current is not as powerful as other rivers in the area. It was safe for my children as that is a priority for us . And to just get out of the cottage and walk to the river is just so convenient! Thank you for a wonderful stay . The daily rate is what you would pay at a 3-4 star hotel except you don’t have housekeeping knocking on your door while you’re trying to get some rest ! Well worth it ! See...
