If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This little store made our whole trip to Texas worth it.

We parked in front of the Bistro and I saw the hat shop. My boyfriend had been wanting a hat so I suggested we go look because the restaurant was most likely open later than the hat shop.

We walked in and instantly became family. A few guys were playing music (so cool!) inside and they all said hi to us! Then we got to talking to Bryan and some of the other guys. Before we knew it, 4 hours had passed and we also had purchased 3 hats and corresponding accessories.

This hat shop has an amazing variety of hats. Not only are they excellent sales people but they’re excellent people. We all instantly clicked and there was never a dull moment in the conversation. I truly feel blessed to have met the people in Herb’s Hat Shop that night and thank God that He orchestrated our paths to all cross.

I look back on the memories of us playing music and singing so fondly. I have never met such genuine, warm, welcoming, and caring people in my life. This place is a one of a kind establishment. If you’re in Texas, this hat shop is a must-see.

Saturday 04-23-22. This was My second time to visit Herb's, but my first time to purchase. We went in to look for a hat band, and a couple of replacement Stetson hat pins. Found what I was looking for right away. After a few minutes of looking around and asking some questions about a Stetson Open Road Royal Deluxe, the owner was more than happy to call his other location all the way down in San Antonio to check stock on my request. They did have it, and he made a promise to have it there for the next afternoon. So, I paid for my order in advance. The next day we had BBQ lunch across the street from Herb's and I went in to check on my hat. True to his word, it was there waiting for me, and this is on a Sunday! I was more than thrilled with the great customer experience and very happy with the hat which is out of stock everywhere else I have looked. At the recommendation of a friend I drive to Herb's Hat Shop in Blanco for my first real hat. I was very apprehensive, with all the decisions I was thinking I was going to have to make. My wife came along to help as well. A hat is a decent investment in my book and I wanted to get it right. A young lady named Tatum took us under her wing for over an hour and answered every question and helped us the whole time. I absolutely couldn't be any happier with my first hat experience. Tatum and crew were pleasant and easy to talk to and helpful in every aspect. I can't recommend them enough.
