Please read to end, updated review and I was completely satisfied. 5/20/24. 47 minutes to check in 3 rooms. Front desk staff (Ted) was rude. Improperly charge for 4 rooms. Given wrong room keys. Rooms are dated, first hotel I've stayed in that has a lever to flush toilets like a urinal has. I'm waiting to speak with manager tomorrow at 8am (Amber), however hearing her on speaker phone tonight with all the F'bombs in the background Im not too sure it'll benefit. Maybe Lauren Wingate or David Shah should do an episode of undercover boss! Absolutely worst hotel I've ever dealt with and I travel alot for work. I'd like to know if security camera at reception desk is time stamped and includes audio, if it does then Mr Shah with Chapman Hospitality should review the recordings. ** Update- The general manager Lauren reached out to me and she absolutely addressed my complaints. She was very helpful, going above and beyond just addressing my issues at this property. I will be using her for all my future stays in this area. I beleive this property is slated for renovation but until then I'd highly recommend the property adjacent which is managed by Lauren with same company. Went from worst hotel experience to the absolute best experience and it was immediate. I received a direct call from her the next morning. Thank you again!

The only reason I leave 1 star is because the housekeeping staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was always well kept and the food was delicious. The front desk people on the other hand are extremely rude and unprofessional. During my stay one of the mattresses in my room was absolutely horrible. Deep holes and springs sticking out. I would wake up with unbearable hip and back pain. I will attach a picture of the springs that stick out. I wonder if staff would like to go home after working a long day to a bed with deep holes and springs stabbing them. Over 5 times we asked the front desk if we could get a new mattress or be moved to another room and the answer was always "i'll speak with the manager." Nothing ever came from it. At one time the front desk person even said, "what do you want me to do i'm not a housekeeper, you can't pick and choose what room you get." Absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. Considering you are paying to stay here you should be able to at least have a comfortable bed to sleep in. Since front desk staff was of no help and neither was this imaginary "manager" all I can do if warn people considering staying here of the type of service you will receive at this hotel.

Good location. Mostly polite staff. But zero quality. It’s just under average for the cost. Reasons for this review: Uncomfortable bed Constant doors slamming Moldy shower head Air conditioning not calibrated - 70° was the coolest it would go even though it was all the way down. Bathroom light switch stopped working on Saturday. They repaired on Monday but with light and fan on one switch and the second switch obsolete. It also wasn’t connected to the wall. Room 102 has two doors. One is across from the laundry/gym and the back door leads to the courtyard. Outside 102’s back door is an exit from the center of the hotel. Their hydraulic closing mechanisms do not shut their doors softly so imagine having people in and out of the laundry room and courtyard all day. I tallied one hour on Friday evening, 16 slams from the laundry and 6 from the courtyard exit. I shared this with the front desk on Saturday when the light switch stopped working.

Never again.

Okay, first the good. The free breakfast was alright. Nothing special, but hey, it was free. And the ladies providing it were nice. Also a couple of the night front desk clerks were pleasant, but apparently did not follow through.

Alright, now for the not so good. This location is very dated and in EXTREME need of an refresh/update. Rooms and bathrooms are on the small side. We were welcomed to our HOT room by 2 flies in the bathroom. AC struggled to cool down and keep up. "Queen" beds were not very comfortable. WiFi was slow, TV picture was not HD and outlets were limited.

When we got back to room after the first day, trash did not get emptied and could not tell if bathroom had been cleaned. Towels were rationed and no replacement soap. Also, the room had a pamphlet/flyer for HBO, but the channel was not listed on the channel guide in the book or on the TV. Weird! So we tried to call the front desk and discovered the phone was not working!!! Went to front desk to inform of all issues and she did not know what channel HBO was on either??? She said she would report the phone issue for the next day.

The next morning, the housekeepers said good morning to us and saw us leaving after breakfast. When we got back at the end of the day there was a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on our door and our electronic key did not work. Had to get another key programmed from front desk and upon entering the room nothing had been done!!! Beds not made, bathroom not cleaned or replenished, trash not emptied (AGAIN), and phone STILL BROKEN!!!

Went to front desk to complain and although very pleasant and sympathetic, the clerk could not do anything because housekeeping and maintenance were gone for the day. She gave me some clean towels and offered something free from the restaurant, (which I turned down).

Checked out early the next morning and the clerk gave us a discount of $50 and the managers card. Still have not heard from him. Not really looking for freebies or discounts, just want the value for the money paid. Just seems like there is a lack of communication and follow through with this staff. This location really diminishes the Ramada Brand. Too bad.

I guess my final words would be...

Wow I have been staying here for the past 13 days and I am blown away that people would spitefully LIE AND CREATE A REVIEW THATS A WORK OF FICTION! I WAS A FIRST HAND WITNESS OF THE GUESTS THAT CLAIMED THEY HAD BEDBUGS, NOT HAVE AN ISSUE UNTIL THEY WERE CAUGHT INVITING PEOPLE WHO WERE NOT GUESTS INTO THE POOL. IT IS CLEARLY STATED THAT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING UNREGISTERED GUESTS OR UNOCCUPANTS AND THAT THE MAX OCCUPANCY IN A DOUBLE BED ROOM IS 4. THESE PEOPLE CHOSE TO IGNORE THE RULES AND BELIEVE THEY WERE ABOVE THE RULES, THEY DIDNT BRING 1 OR 2 EXTRA GUESTS IT WAS UPWARDS OF 12+ PEOPLE IN THE ONE SHALLOW END OF THE POOL. WHEN THE MANAGER CALMLY EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS NOT ALLOWED THE GUESTS BECAME RUDE ROWDY AND JUST DOWNRIGHT INDECENT UTILIZING FOUL LANGUAGE IN FRONT OF NOT ONLY THEIR OWN BUT OTHERS' CHILDREN AS WELL. INSTEAD OF ACCEPTING THEY BROKE THE RULES AND CALMLY LEAVING THEY DECIDED TO BE LOUD AND RUDE. THEN DECIDING TO GET ONLINE AND POST FALSE REVIEWS. ME AND MY CHILDREN ARE BLACK AND HISPANIC AND HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY TYPE OF RACISM SINCE BEING HERE FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS. I AM ENDING MY FINAL NIGHT HERE AND WAS COMING TO POST MY REVIEW, WHEN TO MY SURPRISE I SEE THEIR WORK OF FICTION. ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST CLEANIST, FAIR PRICED HOTELS WITH A POOL YOU CAN STAY AT. THE STAFF FROM FRONT DESK TO BREAKFAST ATTENDANT AND HOUSEKEEPING HAVE BEEN SWEET, NICE, ACCOMODATING AND CARING! ALWAYS ASKING ME THROUGHOUT THE DAY IF WE WERE OKAY. MY 4 YR OLD IS AUTISTIC AND THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING IN HELPING ME FEEL OKAY WITH HIS LOUD VOCAL STIMMING NOT ONCE DID THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT HIS LOUD CRIES OR NOISES. NOT ONCE HAVE I SEEN A BEDBUG OR ROACH NOT EVEN A FLY IN MY ROOM. I UNDERSTAND THAT ADMITTING WE ARE WRONG IS A BITTER PILL, BUT POSTING FALSE REVIEWS IS JUST PLAIN OLD LAME. PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO HAVE SELF ACCOUNTABILITY AND SET A BETTER EXAMPLE FOR THE KIDS THEY ARE WATCHING US! THE MANAGER HAD OTHER OPTIONS SUCH AS CONTACTING LAW ENFORCEMENT BUT SHE DIDNT! KUDOS TO MS. LAURIE(THE GM) FOR MAINTAINING HER CALM AND PROFESSIONALISM THROUGH IT ALL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CLEAN FAIR PRICED LOCATION TO STAY WITH A POOL I RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION 👌...

I stayed at your Hotel last week Sunday-Thursday) and want to address a few issues I have. Overall the stay was nice but I have a few concerns that might have me staying elsewhere in the future.

HBO was down the whole time. This would not have been such a big issue had the desk clerk not made a big deal about it. I called Monday night and asked what channel HBO was on and was told channel 22. When I told her that Channel 22 was not working she said that she called Comcast and they said it would be back up shortly. Wednesday night I asked again and was told they did not know it was down. Jeffery called Comcast and tried to fix the issue multiple times and later I was called apologizing and was offered to move to another room where HBO was available. I declined, it really is not that important to me as I can get HBO on my phone if I really want to.

I was told, when I checked in, that the breakfast bar would offer Bacon and Eggs along with potatoes and sausage. Every morning undercooked sausage and overcooked scrambled eggs were offered with cabbage and rice (Who eats rice and cabbage for breakfast?

The room did not have an adjustable thermostat just a wall unit that either blew varying degrees of hot or cold air. I found myself either cooking for freezing. In 2014 a room and heating system should be equipped with an adjustable thermostat.

Although I did have limited pleasant interaction with the desk personal I did witness an interaction one night that disturbed me. I noticed a gentleman talking to the desk clerk (the same one that checked me in) and the desk clerk walked away. The gentleman said "that is rude to walk away from me when I am talking to you". The desk clerk went behind some door and returned a few minutes later like nothing happened. This shows contempt and disrespect in my opinion. I am glad he did not do this to me as I would have climbed over the counter and followed him in to the back room had he acted this...
