University Plaza — Local services in Brookside

Why am I writing a review about University Plaza? I confess I have an ulterior motive. Every time I visit a merchant here Google nags me with the "How was University Plaza?" notifications. So, Google, now you can shutup about University Plaza. Here's my much anticipated (by no one) review. Chances are I've already written about 4 lines too many;-) It's not bad here. If you don't know there's an Aldi across the street you can visit the money pit otherwise known as Acme. If you want to grow a beard waiting in the drive through line at WSFS, queue up here. I experienced a 32 minute wait at this branch and I was 2nd in the queue! WSFS, please change your slogan to We Stand For Slow. There's a Wendy's right next to WSFS and I should have ordered my last supper there before queuing up at WSFS. There's a liquor store here which is very easy to spot. Just look for the ever present double parked car in front and chances are you'll find the liquor store. There's a pizza place with the hysterically funny review in which the reviewer says he doesn't speak "spinach." There are other stores here besides the 2 which I'm about to comment on. I saved the best for last. There's a Harbor Freight Tools here so get your inexpensive tools fix on here. I know I do. My favourite local Chinese take away is located here as well. It's called J&C. The food is well proportioned, inexpensive, and usually great. Before life became infested with the ever present pandemic, there used to be a dining room here. Let's hope...

I went to the Wendys in the plaza to pick up a grubhub order the employee there was very rude and unprofessional towards me. I knocked at the door because every restaurant is different when picking up for grubhub. Apparently I annoyed him because i knocked on the door and wasn't aware i had to retrieve my order via drive thru, and he was very disrespectful telling me that also. After I sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes i was greeted with the same employee that i saw at the door and stated i was from grubhub. When i told him i was here to pick up Kiyah D order from grubhub he said no such order exist. I verified with grubhub and they told me the order was called in and paid for so it should be in their system. Anyway I did not receive the order so i was unable to deliver to my customer at the time. I lost that pay out but its fine, i just hope some one explains to him that we are responsible for...

Great complex for everyday shopping, clothing and decor,specialty shops for hardware, tools, home furnishings, and now we have Hobby Lobby for the creative arts and crafts. J & C Japanese cuisine has great sushi at affordable prices. Shops include: Acme, Walgreens, Hobby Lobby, Harbor Freight, Burlington Coat Factory, LL Flooring, American Frieght, University Liquors as well as restaurants, fast food,and two banks (PNC and Citizens Bank is located inside the Acme).
