They say first impressions are everything. If that's true, I'm not that impressed. I called, made an appointment, & arrived on time. Someone who obviously is a regular tried to park & run ahead of me. Lol. I was already in the door. The woman behind the desk, Meghan, whom I had spoken with over the phone, asked me to sign in, then quickly asked the regular to take a seat. Meghan quickly attended to the regular as she instructed her son to turn the water on in the spa chair. I have sat here for over 35 minutes waiting.... so far. My water has turned cold and no one has approached to help me. This has given me plenty of time to notice the dirt carpet, the dirty washcloth on the sink, & the peculiar bottle of Ajax sitting on the tray next to the Cuticle Oil. Although my water is a non-relaxing cool temperature, I do not want to place my feet on the foot pedestals as they appear dirty & they should place a towel across first. We'll see if that happens. If the kid wasn't so entertaining & the back massage chair wasn't ironing out the knots in my back, I'd probably leave. Guess worse case scenario is that I leave with a more relaxed back and cold, waterlogged feet. Will post an update when either I finally get a mani/pedi, wake after falling asleep, or decide to leave. I gave three stars as I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. UPDATE: After waiting 37 minutes, Tina came over to take care of my nails. Her strong hands giving the wonderful foot massages made the wait all worthwhile! Note: the "regular left after an hour of arriving. I'm leaving two hours after arriving. I am VERY happy with my mani pedi and very relaxed back! Oh! And she also waxed my brows and put them in top shape. Thank you Tina! Btw, she did place a towel over the foot pedestals before asking me to place my feet on them. And something I inquired about prior to coming in, they sterilize everything....
Read moreThe acrylics are thin & always one breaks completely in half the first week! I am not hard on them either & take care to not use them as tools 🤪need to order a different brand that’s not so thin so this won’t happen as I went out of town one time & was gone 10 days & had to buy super glue so I didn’t have to go into another salon to fix it. Other time was my birthday so that was a bummer & last was a holiday. Simply reached up to get something in back seat of car & nail hit the ceiling of car but it shouldn’t have broken it right off! Happened to 2 this time one the very 1st week & then another the 2nd week of having them done . Also, one is loose within 2nd week as well so 3 nails within 2 weeks falling off! The pedicure by the guy was lame as he didn’t trim toenails OR use file on top and hardly massaged foot or legs at ALL! Either get someone else to do it or go...
Read moreSoo, initially I was pretty disappointed. Normally when I come here I get the girls and they do an amazing job.. this time I got the guy and although he has a great personality Im just not a fan of my nails. He left alot of bumps and one of the kind ladies fixed my thumb, then I noticed more and decided to go back and have him fix it. He then added another coat of polish to all of my nails making them look better. I just noticed my pointer fingers arent even and one has a bump. Next time Ill ask for one of the ladies. And Im happy he fixed it when I came back. Im rather sad I paid 75$ for these though.. kinda pricey… and my friends that have gotten him before were disappointed as well. I love this place and will continue to come, like said asking for someone else (All photos are...
