Update..... Discovered bed bug bites on my arm! I'm so disgusted. Sent an email but still haven't received a response.
For having to pay almost $125 a night, you'd think the room would have the basics other than a TV. No microwave, no refrigerator or no dresser! They want you believe that they updated the rooms, but hardwood floors (laminate) is loud and also dangerous if you're getting out of the shower. The handicapped accessible shower hose was broken and sprayed everywhere! The mattress itself was OK, but it sits on a platform that causes the mattress to slide around and you always bang your knees on it. There was a constant high pitched beeping somewhere outside the room or in another room that went off every 10 seconds! I was there 2 nights and the beeping never stopped! I wanted to pull my hair out! There was one tiny table attached to the wall and a cheap unsturdy chair and one basic sized night stand on the other side of the bed. But nowhere to put your stuff! Everything had to be on the floor... Getting wet once you tried to shower. This was by far the worst room I've stayed in. It was for the most part clean, but not at all accommodating...especially for a person with disabilities! A person with mobility issues can easily slip, hit their head on the...
Read moreI stayed here on Christmas Eve. The room was affordable for the area and was conveniently located near the highway. The rooms have been "renovated" with simple, basic contemporary decor. I've stayed at many Motel 6's before and I wasn't expecting luxury but this was among the worst I've seen. I checked in and there was hair in the sink, dirt on the bathroom counter, soap particles in the shower, and stains on the toilet seat. I asked the front desk to have the room cleaned. Without any explanation or apology from the front office, af housekeeper came in and sprayed some cleaner on the tub and toilet and wiped it down. After she was gone, there was still soap scum on the tub and shower walls and stains in the tub. The hair was still in the sink. I accidentally spilled a cup of water on the floor and used a washcloth to dry it up. The washcloth came up black. The floors were filthy and likely hadn't been swept or mopped in ages. It was Christmas Eve and I had no options so I went to the store, bought some bleach pads, and wiped the counter, sink, and toilet myself. Also, the walls are paper thin and I heard the baby next door crying and the couple fighting. All this for $100! Next time I'll spend a few extra bucks and select...
Read moreThere are 2 particular staff members that truly shined during my stay at this motel-the motel manager Parmajit & a housekeeper Kenya - you both helped my son, and I had to have such a great stay & I send my deepest thanks to your great hospitality and excellent customer service 💫💫 This is my first time ever staying at a Motel 6, I have not always heard the best of the brand, but the excellent service that I received here-clean room & quick problem solving- will definitely help me to return here in the future!
CONS: there needs to be better control over not allowing people to smoke right in front of their hotel rooms – at the beginning of our stay the people in this room surrounding mine smoked cigarettes right out front of my window if not every hour every other hour & I have very active asthma, so I had to trade rooms in order to be able to breathe better-there needs to be a more strict smoking Policy that the other guests need to abide by & this is a pretty busy/noisy location – which the hotel cannot control- but it is almost nonstop noise surrounding the area day...
