Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in City of Watertown

Only put two stars due to the food coming out quick with no issues. Four of us went out yesterday for the Bogo wings and for some beers and to watch some football. We get there around 5:20 and order two appetizers, three beers and a cocktail. The waitress was nice and came up to our table 30 minutes later and asked us if we wanted another drink and to go ahead and place the order now because the bar is behind which is understandable and we were okay with so we ordered 3 beers and 3 shots. As we waited our food came out quickly since we order our food when we order appetizers food was great and everything was correct and fine at this point. Our shots came and there beers and we chilled and watched the game. About 30ish minutes I ordered a round of 4 shots since I decided to have one personally and order the others for my party. Our shots arrived and we continued to watch the game and talk about our work week. Shortly my friends ordered another beer which makes 3 beers a piece over the span almost 4 hours, and I ordered one more set of shots which we waited for 35 minutes to get which is fine due to the bar being behind. Once are beers and shots arrived we were informed that after this set of beers they can't have another one for 30 minutes. We asked nicely why and the waitress informed us that it was a new policy they are enforcing and she apologized and said that "she just works here". We respected what she stated and only stated that we have been to the restaurant multiple times and have never had issues with ordering alcohol at the establishment but we went on with our business respectfully. We waited for 40 minutes and I had to use the restroom and ask my husband once they order another beer to only order one shot for myself since everyone had three and I only had two and one cocktail, I returned to the table to be informed that we have been cut off with ordering shots and I found it odd because I haven't heard of such thing especially over the time period between drinks and no one was disturbing anyone or causing a ruckus in the restaurant. She informed us that we have been cut off for shots due to the manager which never spoke to us and informed us that they have recently had a incident of over serving underaged that fell back on them. We were all over the drinking age limit and we stayed at the establishment for 7 hours and had a designated driver. We didn't give any kick back understood what was going on and left it be. My friends decided to order one more beer before we left and went home for the night and the game was almost over the waitress came and stated she would ask which kinda left us puzzled she shortly came back and informed us that we have all been cut off and can no longer serve us. We were all shocked because we have been to this establishment many times and have ordered more than what we got last night it was just shocking. When it came to the bill the waitress assumed we were asking for military discount due to my husband showing his ID for verification of age at the beginning of our stay so she informed us she couldn't give us military due to the alcohol and bogo at this point my friends were aggravated due to if there is a new policy it should be posted for all customers to see and understand and also for the waitress assuming we wanted a discount when it was not mentioned. It does not take much to get us to try wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. We love the variety of sauces and options on the menu. This experience was quite unsatisfactory. Though the food tasted good, we started out with getting drinks including their tea. They did not have lemons cut or available which was disappointing, but we can deal with that. We got the drinks within 5-7 minutes. While we waited another couple minutes to order we did feel the sound of the background music and tvs were clashing some, yet it did feel normal for a BWW environment. We got our order in and the timing of waiting on food was not too bad. We did get the onion rings as an appetizer and they were crispy and good. When the rest of the food came, that is when we were more disappointed. The order was correct, but the fries were barely warm and not crispy. The flavors of the fries were okay just not satisfying. We ordered one triple bacon burger and two sets of boneless wings. The wings tasted like they had just been microwaved and were already on the cold side. The burger was a little warm but the fries with it were not. We did not complain about the barely warm food because we could not find the server as she was not visible for the majority of the time and she was covering several tables and did not check on us more than twice in passing. After 20 minutes we got our first and only refills and then we had to flag the server down to get our to-go box so we could have our check. It does not seem like the server was overly busy but probably stretched too thin with many tasks to do. And we were surprised that the manager never came and said hi, but we did see the manager doing things around the dining area. Note the restaurant was only half full during lunch so we did think we would have a good experience in general. Every time I come here it’s cool, I come in on a Tuesday ;I’m not blind I see a lot of people here. I understand when work is overwhelming & there’s not enough workers I swear . But this time i couldn’t help but feel our waiter did not want anything to do with us , she comes & asked what we’d like to order after 2 minutes of being seated/looking at the menu , that’s fine :we order & my husband got his meal over 20 minutes later. Like I said I understand it was full. I don’t get my wings for another 20 minutes meaning I waiting for wings for 40 minutes, I’m glad I have my food at this point , but no sides? I got fries & veggies, we have to ask another waiter for help , she was so sweet told us their kitchen situation & tells our waiter. She comes over serves me like 10 -15 fries on a tray ahahahaha I kid you not !!! dude just tell me you hate me without telling me you hate me!! She’s like here ya go & walks away ! Not ,”here you go, anything else for you guys ? “ , no “is there anything else you’d like” ran outta there basically . Like cmon girl I’m paying for a complete meal , I’m being nice, we’re not complaining, being rude about the wait, but now you’re pissing me off ;your service is trash . I have to raise my voice & wave at her from far away ‘excuse me can I get my veggies ! Then finally, she’s getting the hint I’m getting upset .
