I've taken wife and kids or just wife here on a few occasions now. One great and consistent thing I've noticed is the service: it's friendly and it's fast. Last time we went every table was full and there was really only about 1.5 waitresses. She was polite in spite of being in a hurry and got the job done. They accomodate kids with smaller serving options and kid-friendly cups - and also accomodate adults with Beer!
The food is a 4.5. It's basic Vietnamese food with no frills plating. Nonetheless, it tastes great and comes out fast! I wish the vermicelli was the thinner type of noodle but the flavor of the dish was great. Pho broth isn't overly salty and portions were generous. My kids also love their chicken pho and teriyaki chicken (go figure). We all love the spring rolls and egg rolls.
All the staff are friendly and happy to help. The dining room is dated but clean and there's always chill music on.
As with any restaurant - busy is...
Read moreI ordered a small number eight, the pho with all the various kinds of beef ( this was my first time to eat here so I relied on the recommendation of the waitress, Who I might add was very nice)
The portion was very generous for the price however I would’ve liked a little bit more meat. The plate that accompanied the dish with the basil, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapeño was just right. There were no ground peanuts on the table with the standard condiments, but I suppose had I asked for some they would have been provided.
The broth was very good, clean, with tiny bubbles glistening on top from just the right amount of fat. In short, the Pho was delicious.
Overall the restaurant was neat and clean, however, the restroom doors were pretty grungy looking ( could use a good wipe down with Clorox ). The restroom had a locking door, one stall, and one urinal – fairly clean, but could be cleaner.

Read morePho Beef Noodle soup is very good. Freshly sliced meat, and a generous portion of it with tasty broth. Their soup broth is dark and rich, which is what I look for at 6 o'clock pm. Unlike some Clovis Vietnamese Restaurants whose Pho dishes contain a very small amount of pre-sliced meat, with watered down broth come dinner time, Pho 2006's broth was nice and rich tasting. The only miniscule complaint would be that they mixed their Hoisin sauce with Sriracha sauce in same container for take-out. If you don't want heat with your soup or Hoisin, it could be a problem. Fortunately, it's not hard to separate the sauces, but unless you're already aware they mix it, you might simply dump the container into your soup before you realize you just dumped Sriracha with your Hoisin. That being said, their Pho soup was the best I've found in Clovis, and gets a...
