The Buffalo Bill's Antlers Inn is an older motel that has be redone. We stayed for an overnight in June 2023. The location of the motel seemed decent. But it really didn't matter for us. What you may want to be close to may differ and it may matter. This was a more reasonable cost inn for us to stay. So it's not a five star hotel. That's something folks need to keep in mind with lodging. I always try to review based on what an Inn provides for the price point, rather than what it doesn't. Our room was obviously the older motel design, but redone in a nice western theme to match the name of the motel. (The wife thought it was cute.) They had nice lamps and bed headboards that remind you of a log cabin. But some of the other furniture didn't match as nice, but was functional.. There were not many 110volt AC sockets available. So you may have to improvise to plug in some of your devices. If you do not use many or any, then there's no problem. If you use a lot, you may have to prioritize or again, improvise. The bed was more comfortable that I expected. When I first sat on it, I wondered. But I slept pretty good. The AC/heat unit in our room was difficult to figure out. Both of us had trouble reading the panel with all lights on, reading glasses and a flashlight off our phone. The graphics were just hard to figure out. So I don't know what to make of how it worked. It worked and could be somewhat loud with the fan seeming always on high when it came on. The sink is outside the bath area. It is pretty small counter wise as expected, in typical older motel design. The shower had nice soft water and one of, if not the best water pressure we've had in a hotel/motel. The tub had places to put your stuff and the wife said to shave your legs. Like almost every inn, you can hear some noise from other rooms and such. But it wasn't bad. They have parking on two sides of the building and the entrances are on each end only. There is no breakfast included, so you must make your own arraignments. I found nothing within walking distance close by. I drove up and over the hill to McDonalds, or Burger King. There is also a laundromat across the street behind the gas station if you should so need. We have been traveling a lot and needed one. As such, it worked well and I think that they are open 24hrs. It was a nice place. We went in the morning and the owner was there making sure things were clean and maintained. A nice man. Anyway, we found the Buffalo Bill's Antler Inn to not be perfect. But it excelled at providing an overnight stop and a reasonable price point. Yes not everything is perfect. But what it provided at the price point was very good. No not five star good considering things I've already said. But It's worth four stars. I would stay there again if I had the need.

Spent 1-night in a king bed room, pre-booked before arrival from the hotel website. Older hotel but very clean and well-kept in parking lot and common areas. Room was clean upon arrival with bed well-made and bathroom cleaned well. Freebies included travel size body wash, shampoo, conditioner, instant coffee for two with coffee maker in room. Liked how hotel was within city proper, within walking distance to downtown shops. There is also a gas station across the street (with nice laundry mat right next door to it) and a large Chinese buffet right next door. It’s right on Hwy 14 so easy access out of town if you are passing through. Wi-Fi was decent. Easy connection and was able to browse web pages and social media without issues. Overall good hotel for price point. We would stay again when visiting the area.

While the rooms are very much outdated you kinda expect that with a cheap motel. Concerns with outside doors not locked over night after being told they would be. Nick the manager was rude and intrusive to me. I returned to the property and the front desk clerk gave me a lower price that what Nick had quoted me.. He approached me in the hall raising his voice and arguing. I told him I’m a guest and should be treated like one.. He then followed me down the hallway towards my room arguing I can leave and he would refund my stay. This was crazy at best! If you stay… beware of Nick…. He’s no Saint 🤣🤔

We were moved to the Antler Inn as our initial booking through booking.com had plumbing issues. We got to our rooms late after a very long day and went straight to bed. The next morning I found dried blood on the pillowcase, flat sheet and fitted sheet. The blood had not been fresh (mine) the night before as there was no smearing and the blood had obviously been dried for some time before I went to bed. I showed the blood spots to the motel clerk, who basically said nothing. No apology or attempt to make things right. ||After returning home from our trip, I emailed the Antler Inn, sending photos and explaining the issue, requesting a refund for that one room only due to the dried blood on the sheets. I was fine paying for the other room. I received no reply over the next week. ||This morning I called and again explained the issue to the person who answered the phone at the Antler Inn. This person said that there was nothing they would do as I did not escalate the issue within an hour of check in. I explained we had been driving the entire day and went straight to bed the night before. We were exhausted and I did not see the blood until the next morning with the window shades open and full light in the room. The person on the phone from the Antler Inn said there was nothing they would do regarding a refund and no steps would be taken to try and resolve the issue. The person on the phone from the Antler Inn then hung up on me without any further discussion, apology or recognition. He just hung up the phone. ||Other than the blood on the sheets and the way the staff at the Antler Inn has dealt with me, the stay was fine. I would have been writing a positive review otherwise. Had someone from the Antler Inn even apologized for the issue and attempted to do anything to make things right, I would have appreciated it and recognized it. Instead, they simply hung up on me when I was trying to discuss the issue. ||Stay here at your own risk. Just be sure to check the sheets for blood the minute you check in then report it immediately. Otherwise, assume you’ll get treated with the same disrespect...
