I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott, where I experienced exceptional service that went far beyond my expectations, thanks to an employee named IIesha. During my stay, I encountered an inconvenience when the hotel's dryer broke down. Understanding the importance of having clean and dry clothes, especially when traveling, IIesha stepped in with a level of initiative and hospitality that truly distinguished my experience.
She promptly offered to personally take care of the situation by drying my clothes, ensuring that this unexpected hiccup in my day was smoothly resolved without any further hassle on my part. IIesha's actions reflected a remarkable dedication to guest satisfaction and service excellence. Her attention to detail, thoughtful approach, and willingness to go the extra mile showcased the very best of what one can expect from the Marriott brand.
IIesha’s dedication to her role was evident from the very beginning. She possessed a profound understanding of the hospitality industry’s standards, always ensuring that our accommodations were not only comfortable but also conducive to the productivity required for our work. Her attention to detail was impeccable, as she would remember our preferences, anticipate our needs, and address any issues with immediacy and efficiency.
Her customer service skills were particularly exemplified when she went above and beyond to personally take care of drying my clothes after the hotel’s dryer broke. However, this was not an isolated incident. Throughout our three-week stay, IIesha maintained a level of attentiveness that made us feel valued and respected. Whether it was her friendly greeting each morning or her proactive approach to managing our needs, she demonstrated an innate ability to make guests feel at home.
Moreover, IIesha’s actions significantly contributed to the positive and productive atmosphere which was essential for the success of our work with the FDA. Her efforts to ensure our comfort and satisfaction allowed us to focus on our important regulatory work without concern for the logistics of our accommodations.
IIesha stands out as a paragon of exceptional customer service, embodying the values and standards that one would expect at a Courtyard by Marriott. It is clear that she takes great pride in her work and views the satisfaction of guests not just as a responsibility, but as a personal mission. She is undoubtedly a remarkable asset to your team, and any establishment would be fortunate to have her as a representative.
Thanks to IIesha, my stay was not defined by a minor mishap but rather highlighted by the kind of customer care that fosters loyalty and trust in a hotel. I am grateful for her kindness and professionalism, and I believe she is a valuable asset to the Courtyard by Marriott...
Read moreLet me first say that when we travel we normally stay at Marriott hotels. This one was disappointing. We arrived late Friday evening, checked in on the APP but weren’t sent our room assignment or mobile key. So tired we had to go to the front desk, where no one was to be found. We were left waiting there for several minutes .
Then the hotel pool was gross. It had hair floating across the top of the water. It looked like the filter needed changed.
And then we had to leave early because of a family emergency. Again I utilized my Marriott app to text the front desk. No response until the next day. I’ve stayed at other Marriott hotels and used this feature and they responded within a couple minutes. And when we got on the road to travel home, I got ab apple notification that my airbuds were left behind. I had remembered that I had laid them on the bed while packing up. I immediately sent another message that went unanswered until the am.
I was told they would email me as soon as the room was checked. Again, no one could be bothered to go look for me.
An email came 3 days later stating they weren't found even though my find me app showed them still there but now they were out of the case. The Manager couldn’t care less about our experience or my missing item.
Please tell me what would make me want to stay again?
Allow me to update more to this review. After being contacted by the general manager for this facility, And being told first that my earbuds were just accidentally put in an employee pocket. They were mailed back to me, Reprogrammed to their employees Apple account. I cannot get them to program to my Devices And I wouldn’t use them anyway because they’ve been in someone else’s ears and I find that disgusting. In told me they would reimburse me for them if I kept the police out of it, But then took that back They are refusing to help me any further. They won’t provide me contact information for their local...
Read moreMy vehicle was broken into in the hotel parking lot the one night I stayed. I was not notified and found out when I went out to my car. The front desk clerk acted clueless as to what had happened. I stopped the on premise security officer who confirmed there was 3 vehicles broken into over night and he had already filed an incident report and gave to the hotel. Which the front desk clerk could not give me a copy of. I requested the manager call me when they arrived, they did not. I called and spoke to him and asked for copy of the incident report for my insurance. I had also filed one with Columbus police. He said he did not have an incident report from the security company, and they have their own form they fill out for the hotel incident tracking. The front desk clerk did not get any information from me for any type of report. They Assistant Manager was less than helpful and basically told me I was on my own to fill out report.
I understand parking at your own risk, but when there are signs that the lot is monitored and a security officer drives around and tells me I can get an incident report and copies of the video if need be from the hotel. The hotel staff was extremely disappointing in their lack of assistance.
I purposely stayed at this location in a nice part of town rather than staying near the fairgrounds as there are many reports of vehicles being broken into at the hotels surrounding the grounds. This is will be the only time I...
