Beautiful hotel but VERY, VERY poor service and severely under staffed. Disappointed at the out of control environment which caused so many others to voice their concerns so they finally had security patrol the parking lot after what seemed like a Motel 6 atmosphere. It was shocking to see what appeared to look nice on the outside , be such chaos inside. It’s been almost a week, and still NO ONE has even responded to our over five phone calls, nor the general manager whose name and phone number were listed on a customer service card found in the room, has not returned our call. When you check in, they say to let them know if they can be of help, but it is only words, not service. They gladly take your business, then don’t deliver nor care. I mentioned my experience and a staff member said that several guests were upset and also let them know the service was horrible!
We had to move from the first room due to the noise levels at 1:00 a.m. which we were glad our move happened the next day. When moved to the second room, we could not get housekeeping services of sheets or towels. They over booked a massive wedding with only one person working the desk over the weekend and leaving several other guests neglected. When we checked in, the lobby was like a zoo and so full, you couldn’t find a seat.
When seeking service, we were shocked at how the housekeeper rolled her eyes, through up her hands to dismiss us and walked away from both me, the customer and her co worker, the houseman who asked her to service our room. She refused as we were disturbing her day-long texting, not working. We returned to our room 5 hours later and still no service, the housekeeper kept telling us to call the front desk, which repeatedly went to voicemail and left us on hold for 15-20 minutes each time. Finally the houseman apologized for the housekeeper’s rudeness and offered to provide housekeeping. He had a wonderful attitude and we appreciate him! After a long day, we were again awakened by drunk guests arguing loudly in the halls at 1:30 a.m on our new floor. We are Hilton members and plan to file a complaint. They shouldn’t treat their guests this way and ignore the fact that there are problems that...
Read moreI have stayed here several times. I chose a specific room on the fifth floor (527) upon checking in on the Hilton app, because I know there's a decent view.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a second floor room (204) with a view of the rooftop vent pipes. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction, I was told there was nothing they could do. Begrudgingly, I took the room because it was a daddy/daughter overnighter, and I didn't want to upset my daughters. The whole room was unkempt. Fingernails and dirt on the floor, stains around the bed box springs, chipped furniture, and very obviously not vacuumed. We returned to the front desk, and I told them about the issue. Again, they said there was nothing they could do except send someone up to give the room a "refresh". I was given a free breakfast voucher which was of no use because we needed to leave immediately upon wake up. The customer service person at the front desk asked "did you use the room at all?" . To me, that meant there was no intention of cleaning the room for the next customer. Not the best foot forward. We left the hotel for a few hours and came back. I was sure to check with the front desk to see if the "refresh" had been taken care of before going to the room. While it seemed that some vacuuming had been done, there was still food on the furniture, and some kind of mystery gunk on the bathroom floor. l've been a Hilton Honors member for over fifteen years, with diamond status for the past four. This is the end of my journey with this chain of hotels, and I'm going to cancel my Hilton Honors credit card as well. Customer service has slowly but surely waned over the years, and it's painfully obvious that customer loyalty no longer means anything. It's very unfortunate. It used to be a great brand. I received follow up from Perry and Carmelie, and they said I should have addressed the issues while I was there. I DID! Many times! Do better!
EDIT: I was comped two nights with free breakfast. It’s unfortunate that it had to hit Google and TripAdvisor before something was done to...
Read moreI had a very alarming experience at this hotel that is uncomfortable for any female traveling alone for work. I was only there for one evening for business travel. The morning that I was checking out, around 9am, housekeeping alarming opened my door without any warning barged in and yelled “housekeeping!”. I was in the middle of a video conference call and was very flustered as to why housekeeping would just open the door without any warning. Check out was at 11am and I had not called for housekeeping to come to the room for any reason.
Housekeeping did this two more times even though I called front desk to get this issue addressed. When I called front desk to tell them what was going on, they said they would fix the issue immediately. However, it happened a second time while I was in the shower and I was absolutely MORTIFIED as to why this type of behavior was acceptable and how this happened when I had put the deadlock on the door!
The third time I was leaving the room and the housekeeping began to bang on my door and I was honestly just over it and wanted to get out of the hotel as soon as possible.
I don’t understand how this could happen and how negligent a hotel could be at not addressing this immediately.
In addition to that, I thought it was incredibly strange that not all the shower amenities were there within the room? Overall, terrible experience and would never stay again. They also need to have a firm speaking to for the staff because this goes beyond a huge privacy and safety issue of their staff having access to at all the rooms...
