I called on 9/29 to schedule an appt. The young lady who answered said there were several appts and I took the 2:15. I also asked specifically if there were any appts with a trainee to which she said no but that she could put me on a waitlist and call me if any of those appts became available. This morning I called to see if any of those appts had opened up because I had not heard from anyone. I was told by a different young lady that I did not have a scheduled 2:15 appt but that I was on the waitlist for a trainee. She said she had a later appt which wouldnt work because this appt was for my daughter who is going to homecoming this evening. I asked for a manager to call me. Carla called me back saying there was nothing she could do but offer this later appt as the 2:15 was no longer available. I told her that this appt was actually one I had scheduled with someone yesterday and that this was their error and again she said there was nothing more she could do. I asked about the trainees and if there was anyway I could be squeezed in with any of them to which she said they actually do not have any trainees so she is not sure I was placed on any waitlist. Absolutely ridiculous. I dont think they realize how their inability to do their jobs impacts others. She offered to check into other locations but we are already coming from Pataskala and Easton is traveling far enough especially on a day when there is a lot to get done with pictures and shuffling kids to dinner and the dance. Yes, they did apologize but this really does nothing for me and certainly does not fix the problem that...
Read moreWow… Wish we could say that we had the five star experience that other people are writing about. We came from out of town for a girls’ weekend, and we had scheduled two appointments two months prior. We also received two confirmation emails this week prior to our appointments. This was our first time experiencing “blowouts” as our hometown does not offer The Blowout Bar. When we arrive to our appointments, we were told that we only had one appointment-not two. It was a mess, the front desk was not accommodating and unprofessional. Everyone was on their cell phone trying to figure out what it happened instead of taking care of the customer. Then we had to actually send our confirmation to one of the employees’s personal cell phones. They went ahead and took one of us. This first service felt very rushed, and she did not even receive the requested color enhance treatment that was booked . This was discussed at the desk that both appointments included this service. The second person had to wait 20 minutes for the staff to figure out who was doing her hair. They even asked her “do you have to have your hair washed?” Really?!?! Is this not standard procedure for a blowout? There was talk of passing each of us off after shampooing like we were a huge inconvenience. We would never recommend let alone return to this establishment. Absolutely no professionalism at any point. Such a disappointment to an experience we were...
Read moreI booked a blow out and added the scalp massage and hair masque, and I really looked forward to a relaxing treat. However, my stylist was running way behind (at least 20 minutes past my appointment time) which didn’t bother me. I was in no hurry. She was obviously trying to make up time though. She announced that she was doing my scalp massage during the shampoo, so basically I got a shampoo. I’m not sure what the hair masque was (just conditioner for all I know), but it did have the hot towel for a couple minutes. I feel like both add-ons were a complete waste of money.
I had planned the Bahama Mama for something different from my usual style, but she recommended the Cosmo. I usually defer to the professional, so I said ok. Again, I think she was just trying to get through my appointment in record time. I left not looking a whole lot different than when I walked in except less curl and a lot of broken hair. I am usually a fairly generous tipper (20% or more), but I only left $10 on the $65 appointment. I was so disappointed, and I will not be back.
Oh, and fair warning, the products they use are very strongly scented! She did ask if it was ok to use product before applying it. I liked it at first, but it got old pretty quickly. If you are sensitive to scents, proceed...
