Our recent stay at Crosby Lofts was, as with previous stays, a wonderful experience. ||Crosby is in the process of a resurgence. Rightly proud of its contribution to the history of 20th century Iron Range mining in Minnesota, in this century those pit mines have become deep clearwater lakes, and the slag heaps have become tree-covered mini-mountains. As a result, the Crosby area has become a modern-day attraction for off-road bicycling, kayaking, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Oh! And yes, lake fishing abounds. ||Crosby Lofts are housed in two early 20th century brick buildings that have been fully restored. The interiors of the buildings have been completely re-imagined into a modern hotel. In each of our stays there, and we’ve been in different rooms each time, the space was clean, modern, and nicely appointed in the motif of the Great North. It is clear that the owners take pride in what they are offering.||The internet-driven reservation and check-in approach that management uses are easy and seamless. There is no concierge or other personnel on site but, in the unlikely event that they are needed, reaching the owners is one quick phone call away. The entry-code-as-room-key concept works perfectly with no physical keys or cards to keep track of and carry around. Gotta love that!||Located in downtown Crosby, plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops are within a block or two. The ever-expanding offerings in food, beverage, and retail reflects the growth happening there.||We highly recommend Crosby Lofts to anyone coming to town for the great biking, hiking, and fishing environment that is modern day north...

Crosby Lofts exceeded all expectations during my recent two-night stay. I was impressed with the ease of booking and the thoughtful & thorough emails I received about my stay. My corner room was great. Huge windows gave me a fun view of the streets and let in tons of light – but when it was time to sleep the black-out curtains were perfect. All spaces in the hotel were nice and clean and the linens, towels, and pillows were excellent.

The garage is a cool space to store your bike and has tools you might need along with lockers to store gear instead of keeping it in your vehicle or room. The deck above the garage was such a perfect place to enjoy some delicious pizza and tasty beers after a long day on the trails. It was my first time truly mountain biking – and when I ran into problems the staff went above and beyond to help get me back riding again.

We ate at both Rafferty’s Pizza (the only one with a woodfire oven) and Drunken Noodle (amazing authentic Thai food with a few fun twists) – and if you have the opportunity – I would highly recommend you do the same.

I’ve already told some other friends about my stay at Crosby Lofts and the fun biking that happened – and another trip is being planned for later...

The rooms were beautiful! Exposed brick with big windows and good quality furniture. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom had great water pressure. There can sometimes be noise outside, from pedestrians/vehicles acting dumb, but nothing that was an issue with the property itself. I was unable to hear anything from any of the other rooms, even with them pretty full!

The location is fantastic, in the middle of the cute downtown area, we parked out car in the reserved spot when we arrived and didn't need to touch it until we left! Everything in town is perfectly walkable. Lots of great food and bar choices within a couple blocks as well.

The rooms get cleaned daily if you desire and the cleaners do a great job. I walked by them working on another room and the bed was fully stripped with the floors actually being fully swept/mopped, and everything wiped down.

Access was convenient, you're provided a personal code that automatically activates during your registration, so you just show up and unpack!

If you're staying in the area I HIGHLY recommend Crosby Lofts. We will be staying here everytime we come up for a...

We recently stayed at Crosby Lofts for a girl's trip. It's the perfect location for shopping, restaurants, cutest wine bar and a few other bars that were great, all within walking distance. Serpant lake is just a couple minute walk away. We brought our paddleboards up and dropped them in right at the public access. Beautiful lake! The rooms are really nice, great tall ceilings, beautiful bathroom. Comfy beds. Lots of room to move around. Our room was facing the main street so we could hear some traffic noise. Turn on some white noise :) Our friends had another room and didn't hear anything :) Would highly recommend staying here. If you have mobility issues, I don't remember seeing an elevator? So many beautiful quarry lakes to explore in the Cuyuna area too. You won't run out of things to do if you love the outdoors!

Best hotel location in the Midwest for 1st Class Mountain (and Fat) Biking. This hotel is outstanding. Design is a Loft meets Modern concept. The rooms are quiet and immaculate. The convenience to the Cuyuna Trails make this my new favorite weekend getaway. You literally unload the truck and no more driving required during your stay. My bike was completely safe in the included / locked 'on premises' bike storage. They even have lockers to keep my red dirt covered bike shoes secure. There is a private outdoor deck overlooking the lake to share stories with friends of the days rides. Highly recommended!!! My only fear is once word gets out... this hotel will be booked out for months.

High quality accommodations in central location for Biking the Trails, Shopping and Walking the town. Rooms are in two sister 2nd floor historic brick buildings across the street from each other on Main & 1st, downtown Crosby. One above the wood fire pizza place, the other above the Thai bowl restaurant. Completely renovated with modern design. Back patio second floor decks to relax. Secured indoor bike storage, lockers and bike wash available. Parking available and assigned by room. DESIGNED by BIKERS, for BIKERS.
