A group of us came in this last week and asked the bar tender to turn on touch tunes so we can play some music our group wanted to listen to. The bartender said nope - owner doesn’t allow that as he has his own playlist. We then proceeded to listen to 30+ min of Led Zep (love them but wanted variety of music) and then proceeded into music that was not conducive to fun drinking atmosphere. I ordered a smoke old fashioned that was not smoked, had to tell the bartender for my 2nd to smoke it - was charged full price for both. Crafted cocktail bar should be fun and not feel like are putting anyone out. The bartender didn’t know how to make non alcoholic drinks either. She threw the owner under the bus many times while there - not very...

First thing I noticed was the excellent sound system when we walked in. Then I noticed how everyone seemed to be having a good time. Upon the suggestion of someone we sat next to you at the bar we ordered something that wasn't on the menu. This place has a wide variety of infused liquor and lots of fun options. The Kenai Whiskey Sour was amazing. I would have had another but was anxious to try a lemon mojito which was dangerously smooth. The owner and bartender is engaging and entertaining. Hard Water lounge has many higher end Kentucky whiskeys that are only available via lottery at a very affordable price per pour. I was lucky enough to try Weller C.Y.P.B which is one that I’ve tried. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and allowed my partner and I to savor the moment and talk for over an hour without rushing us. The Alaskan Margarita and smoke old fashioned cocktails were also phenomenal. I’d be here 3 nights a week if it was closer to where I lived and wasn’t just up here...
