Rafferty’s Original and Woodfired Pizza — Restaurant in Crosby

Sorry don’t understand the idea of going to a restaurant where there’s no service. Walked in with a group and sat down. Someone dropped off menus and left. Eventually figured out if we wanted drinks had to go wait in line order them, pay for them, were given a number, then sat down and waited. Now someone wanted water. Back in line and waited for turn to be given a glass to go self serve water. Had question about size of wood fired pizza. Back in line and waited to ask about pizza. Sat down and informed group. Now we wanted to order pizza. Back in line, waited to order pizza, ordered pizza, given number sat down. Waited long time for pizza, beer empty. Back in line to order beer, given number sat down and waited. One person received diner and the rest of us watched them eat. First person just about finished when second person received pizza. Out of beer and watching other members of our party eat. Back in line now to complain. Got $5.00 off of meal and number for beer. Anyway. DUMB idea of a restaurant. I will never go back. Way better pizza and service at home. Good luck...

Had the Taco and Big Cuyuna pizzas, pretty good food, if ya like pizza that tastes like charcoal.

Note the Taco pizza was good... No issue at all, hence the 1 star.

When asked if I wanted a new pie, I stated no, due to wait time so far... but they insisted it wouldn't take long, so I gave in.

2 pizzas were the second items to come out, ~ 35-40 mins after ordering.

The wings were cold when they arrived, the moment before the pizza. Salads were last to come out (imagine that... Apps and salads should be first, within 5-10 mins of order).

New pizza took 10 mins or so, but I always thought pizza needed toppings to the edge of the pie, not 2 inches from it. (Especially for smaller ones.)

Basically, first and most likely last...

Ate here on the way back to the cities from an up north weekend of biking and fishing. Great atmosphere, clean, friendly staff. Love the ordering process, order at the counter when ready and pay right away. Saves time for things like waiting for your check at the end. But unlike some other establishments who do this, the servers still came out and checked on you, delivered food, came back to make sure it was good and that we didnt need anything, pre-bussed and bussed table. Plus, great pizza. Wish I could have had a beer, nice selection on tap. Great experience in every way- tap Mountain Dew, YESSSSS! Will def go back when in the area and would...
