There's not many restaurants within a 50 mile radius that serve more than just bar food (pizza & burgers), and the ones that do charge an arm and a leg. That's what appealed to me about this place is that they have a very extensive menu and the prices are reasonable. However, it seems that with an extensive menu comes the cook's lack of knowledge of the menu or how to prepare the menu items. There are quite a few discrepancies between the online menu and the menu in the restaurant. If you've read the online menu and you're looking forward to the Fried House Made Pickles or the Pecan Crusted Walleye you'll be disappointed to find that they don't exist. According to the menu in the restaurant the Fried Pickles are actually jalapenos, not dill pickles, and the only walleye they have is deep fried. Two of us ordered the Greek Chicken Pasta. In both cases the pasta was overcooked, the sauce was bland, and they forgot to put in the tomatoes and the feta cheese! The green peppers and onion weren't even chopped, just two or three long slices of green pepper and onion. The ribs were tough. There really isn't any atmosphere either other than a couple of old pictures of Crosby. The waitress forgot to bring one of our salads, and forgot to bring one of our checks. She was very friendly though. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the staff...

Very casual atmosphere with terrific food. We loved the fried dill pickles, the chicken wings (honey garlic bone-in) and their wraps are good, too. The Thai chicken salad was amazing. Smokepit burger was huge and cooked just right; delicious! As were the criss-cross and sweet potato fries. YUM! Service was friendly & fast. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back and try more of their menu items and recommend to others. Ordered pick-up on 9/16 - food was ready in 20 minutes! Prices have gone up so a little spendier than before, but SUCH GOOD food! Fettucine Alfredo w Shrimp and with Chicken, both Amazing. Huge portions, a little dry but the flavors were GREAT! Chicken Quesadilla appetizer was also HUGE and we loved it, didn't care for the salsa, tho. The prime rib sandwich is plain (hoagie bun with slab of beef, nothing more) but the portion was good and it's the best tasting, most tender prime rib sandwich I've ever had. Good au jus, too, not salty or bland. We didn't care for the chicken dumpling soup but it may appeal to others. Side salads that came with the entrees were fresh and perfect. Their customer service is absolutely the best....

This place is a gem in Crosby. The owner and his daughter took the time to talk with us. We ( me and my girlfriend) are considering moving to the area and it was great for them to take time to give us the local scoop. I had the walleye tacos and Brie burger, both fantastic. They make their chips in house and the seasoning on the potato chips was bomb. Their ranch also seemed home made and was thick and delicious. The walleye was fresh and the breading perfect and crispy. The chicken wrap my girlfriend had was plump and full of fresh veggies and well prepared chicken. The Brie burger was good, but the sweet potato fries and the dip they came with was amazing. It felt good knowing that the locals were happy to talk to us and were exceptionally welcoming. Great small town feel and great food. Very affordable and worth every penny. We will be coming back every time we’re here until we live here. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Definitely make this place a stop and sit at the bar so you can chat with the proprietor and his daughter. Both...

We went here for brunch, and while the atomosphere was friendly, the food was disappointing. Well, my burger was pretty good as were the tots, but half way through my boyfriend found his otherwise delicious burger was raw inside. Upon notifying (and showing) the server, she said that the cooks were told to cook burgers medium unless otherwise specified and that she could throw that half eaten and sauce/cheese covered burger back on the grill. And that was it. We showed her it was raw and no attempt to actually amend the situation of a raw, not even rare much less medium burger was made. If the situation had been handled appropriately (such as acknowledging the problem, apologizing, and offering a new one) this would have been a positive review. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We were in town for a wedding & wanted to eat something local for breakfast - couldn’t be happier with our choice!! I had sweet cakes + cheesy hash, both some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. My husband had the ranger feast and said it was one of the best breakfasts he’s ever had (he is the pickiest person no matter if it’s a 5-star or local diner), which is huge!! The staff HUSTLED and were not only great workers but FRIENDLY to each other and customers. It’s hard to find people that want to work these days much less enjoy their work, so kudos y’all. They were busy, but we were in and out in an hour. Keep it up! If we are ever around these parts again- we will be back here.

We were in town to ride the trails at Cuyuna and stopped in at the Croft. We ordered the giant pretzel 🥨 and were not disappointed. It was huge and very yummy. It came with three sauces: garlic butter, mustard, and cheese. Our favorite was the mustard. We ordered two burgers and split them. The Big cheese is not kidding with the amount of cheese it has on it and while it tasted great, it was a bit rich for me and I was not able to finish it. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and kept us well hydrated with our refills. There is seating outside as well as inside and while it is a small place, they did space out the seating and it was comfortable.
