"You just a Farmer boy, You're not the real McCoy. I've been runnin these meats. You goin' crazy, What about your baby? Why you eatin with heat, baby?" - Parody of "Baby Boy", Tyrese
The "Natural" burger - 1/3 lb USDA vegetarian-fed, hormone-free, antibiotic-free steer beef, onions, thousand island dressing, dill pickles with added tomatoes & jalapenos. Lettuce-wrapped
Um, pardon me, I didn't order the children's portions? Where's my burger? :(
At a little under $5, the "Natural" burger didn't put a dent towards my voracious appetite. I found the patty to be overcooked & tough. The thousand island dressing and the rest of supporting cast helped zoosh up my letdown of a burger.
I just could've gone to In N' Out down the street and order my usual - double double protein-style with pickles, which I know would hit the spot.
C'est la vie, mon ami.
On the plus side, Farmer Boys was clean, both at the tables & in the restroom. They do serve breakfast all day. Perhaps having one of their breakfast items will redeem themselves in my eyes, somewhat. However, I felt like I was at a Carl's Jr. but with a Slater's 50/50 pricepoint. The portions & quality weren't up to par with my expectations.
Verdict - too pricey & better options...

Stopped in and ordered some onion rings again, fish and chips and some of their box meals which was a half sandwich and salad and the other was a crispy chicken sandwich and fries. The portions are a bit smaller which appear to be like a kids meals but enough for small eaters. Overall everything was great except for the grainy salad; however the staff was kind and replaced it immediately. This place was also clean and the staff is up and cleaning tables as soon as people leave. Their hand dryer in the restroom was fixed.
We were craving onion rings so decided on stopping to grab lunch. We ordered cheeseburger, fries and chili cheese fries, grilled chicken, chicken strips, a double cheeseburger and the onion rings. All the food tasted great and they give you plenty of fries; however, my pomegranate drink was a bit weak in flavor ands there was no ice tea but we asked and received some. The chicken strips were super hot and super crispy so just be careful if you’re giving these to small kiddos, especially when they bite into them. What I was disappointed in was the bathroom dryer didn’t work and there’s no paper towels. The floor was also super sticky and you could hear it...
