We happened upon this hotel when we were planning our New Years trip to Dallas through Expedia. The Expedia price was a huge discount from their normal room charge and we didn't know what to expect upon arrival. The only downfall was they didn't have the complimentary breakfast because of recent covid protocols. However, they did have the restaurant open if you wanted to order to go items for an additional fee. (which appeared to be super affordable rates). When we first arrived, they had upgraded our room, which was SUPER. But, we needed 2 beds, so they put us in another room. Unfortunately that room had not been cleaned yet, so they moved us again. The room was a bit smaller and didn't have a fridge or microwave. And yet even with all of this, you might be asking why I give 5 stars? The customer service received here was incredible. The rooms were the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. There was a clean smell, not like cleaning products, but just clean. You felt clean when you entered the rooms and the beds were so comfortable! The personal hygiene products offered were good quality, and smelled amazing. The tub was super roomy and the robes offered were super soft. The Starbucks coffee and Tazo flavored tea was very nice in the mornings. It was very nice to drink out of actual glassware instead of paper cups! The foyer was super open and decorated nicely for the holidays. They were super nice to allow us to add another night to our stay and even charged us the Expedia rate. There was a super nice walking trail, swimming pool, and fitness room. There were geese and ducks wandering around freely on the property. We will definitely check out this hotel for our future stays in the DFW area!

This is a great place to stay! If I'm ever in the area again, I hope it works out to stay here. Beautiful campus. Customer service is awesome, everyone I interacted with was nice and helpful. Great little trail, no issues with parking. The room I was in definitely had a musty odor, but it was tolerable (and I have allergies to many things). The walls are a little thin, I could hear my neighbors easier than I would have liked. Luckily they weren't super loud. The bathroom had no vent, so the humidity in there was crazy. I loved that there was a water filter by the sink! The room layout is great. I had the opportunity/need to use both the ac and heat while here, both worked great. Having access to the full gym (much better than most hotels is an under statement) and a 25 yd lap pool were also both huge plusses. The bummers for me: Sunday hours. The gym doesn't open until 11am on Sunday, so I couldn't use it like I'd planned on (I didn't learn this until I was there). No onsite for options for Sunday, or for evenings. I did not have the opportunity to try the cafe since it wasn't open during the hours I could've eaten there, so I can't speak to it. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here.

Ok, I can only do the review on the staff I Deejayed a wedding at Cooper Hotel. I checked in with a real nice gentleman who directed me to a friendly lady that led me to the back of the Hotel to the reception to the Hotels Coordinator. She was very friendly and directed me to where i would be setting up for the evening. The place was wonderfully decorated for the evening. When guest arrived the were welcomed with a beautiful staircase that led up to cocktail hour. The Bar was stocked beside the staircase with wines, beers and assorted signature cocktails. The 2 bartenders were very friendly and faster than some of the other bars l have reviewed on here. The wait staff was perfect from serving of the hors d’ oeuvres, salads to make course. The gentleman that was in charge of dinner was very nice and checked on all in attendance.

My recent stay at this hotel was marred by several disappointing aspects that overshadowed the positive features. While the rooms themselves were generally pleasant and the environment quiet, there were significant issues that soured my experience.

One positive aspect worth mentioning was the presence of an RO faucet in the bathroom, allowing guests to access filtered water conveniently. However, this positive impression was quickly overshadowed by the condition of the bedding. Despite the overall cleanliness of the room, there were noticeable stains on the sheets. While I understand that some stains may be challenging to remove, the sight of these stains was off-putting and raised questions about the cleanliness standards of the establishment.

What truly marred my stay, however, was an incident that occurred in the evening. At 8:30 PM, my wife and I were called from the front desk accusing us of smoking in our room. As non-smokers, we were taken aback by this accusation and promptly offered to allow the staff to inspect our room to verify our innocence. However, to our dismay, the front desk employee refused our request, opting instead to issue a warning and threaten eviction upon a second alleged offense.

This lack of willingness to investigate the matter thoroughly left a bitter taste in our mouths. We felt unjustly accused and were deeply offended by the implication that we were not being truthful. Moreover, the demeanor of the staff member over the phone was remarkably disrespectful, adding insult to injury.

In summary, while the physical aspects of the room were acceptable, the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff, particularly in handling accusations without proper investigation, left me with a strongly negative impression. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning for...

This place was a very clean and nice facility. It was great my wife and I were able to get our kids in the clean pools and were able to work out while we were there. That being said, I was only able to give a 3/5 for a couple of reasons.

My 3 year old “lost” his teddy bear during our stay. The staff did what they could to help find it and even put us on a lost and found list, but it was never found. Thinking back and talking to my wife about it we are now about 90% sure it was stolen, and the only people who had access to our room other than us was the cleaning staff. My wife knew where she placed the bear prior to us leaving for the day and it wasn’t there when we returned. Needless to say my son was devastated.

We were fairly certain a member or members of the staff were smoking weed in either the stairwell or the maintenance room near the stairwell as the odor radiated through the 2nd floor hallway outside of our room. Neither my wife or I really cared if someone wanted to smoke, but we did not really appreciate our kids being exposed to it. Had it been an issue in the room where we were staying we would have requested to move rooms. My children made several comments to us about the hallway stinking. I believe it was someone with the hotel because when checking in on May 4th, the front desk attendant reeked of weed when he checked us in. Being in law enforcement I’m very familiar with the smell and what it does to someone who smokes. There wasn’t much hiding his red, bloodshot eyes. Having said that, I could care less about whether or not someone wants to smoke it. Just try to be a little more tactful, and not smoke at work I guess.

My wife’s and I decided we would probably stay here again given the cleanliness and what amenities we were able to get for the price if we ever make it through...
