Fat Straws Boba & Mochi Donuts (Forest) — Restaurant in Dallas

Placed an online order because I have an infant, said the order would be ready at 5:20PM (ordered at 4:56). Called the store because they were doing curbside pickup, only to find out they over-looked my order. Not a problem...said they would get right on it and bring it to my car. Keep in mind that I arrived exactly at 5:20 and I ended up waiting another 25 minutes only to have to go inside. I had asked the woman at the front of my order was ready and she said, “ No, we’re starting it right now with everything going on right now”. Keep in mind, I had seen 3 people walk in and place small orders and leave within 5 minutes of entering. You would think that they would start working on an order that was placed nearly an hour before. The drink was good but not quite worth the hassle of...

Definitely a good place to come! I got the matcha and taro swirl slushie. It was okay, definitely wish I tried a different flavor. I also got the churro mochi donut. Flavor profile is like any other churro flavor item but I would say the consistency or the dough of the mochi donut was very nice. Wasn’t too hard to soft. Had a very nice chew to it. We also ordered the Mango Chamoy slushie and it was pretty good! Hard to go wrong with that flavor. We also got the strawberry mochi donut, not that one is super good. It was a very nice flavor and the frosting on top was very smooth...

Way to go for offering great curbside pick-up...we ordered online, parked at least near one of reserve curbside parking spots, called them when we arrived told them make, model, color of our vehicle...super smooth delivery...first time, trying chewy donuts and boba...macha green tea with sea salt foam boba drink was delicious...I'm usually not a big fan of cereal on top of donuts but their fruity pebbles donut was pretty amazing...great texture of cereal combined with the soft texture of donut...thanks for keeping us socially safe and still delivering...
