I ordered the Bacon Bon Bon Brioche. After leaving the store and preparing to eat, I noticed that my sandwhich was practically empty and certainly not worthy of 12.22. There was 1 egg, 3 tomatoes, 1 slice of bacon sliced in half, and 5 clovers of a veggie. The sandwhich was mostly bread and cheese. The toasted bread was flipped inside out. I went back to the store showing them the sandwhich they made versus the sandwhich i had last week at la madeline in Grapevine on highway 121. The video captured a full and fillingsandwhich worthy of my money. The host grew inpatient after i showed her the video and eventually decided to claim and argued with me that I was there before ordering the same sandwhich even after explaining to her Id only ordered that sandwhich in Grapevine and only 1 time. She walked around the store distraught telling employeesthat im complaining without wanting them to actuallysee the difference, and none of the employees seemed to understand the problem between the two photos after I finallyinterruptedand showed them. Instead of remaking my sandwhich that id driven 10 minutes for, they finally spitefully gave me a refund receipt. Also, there was an elder customer in line at about 4:30 when I walked regarding the issue with the product. He ordered dine-in. After receiving the food in a bag and informing the same host that he specified to-go, she even argued with him exclaiming that he ordered to-go. She became condescending toward the elder rushing him away from the counter until he asked for a manager. She then began to speak over him and ignore his request. After asking for a feedback receipt, she stated they did not have any. Now, if its not the grapevine location, i will not return to la madeline. The product was terrible, service was terrible and im still hungry. You absolutely need to get it together or youll be out of business soon. Theres many other places with much better service...
Read moreI went in tonight with a friend after work and also because I spoke so highly of this place, I brought another friend. As we walk up I saw the kitchen light go off and when I went to the door I read the hours and it said 10 was closing time.
I walked in and The Young girl didnt great us how they do in the morning. But that wasn't the worst part. I walked down and this little older lady walks away before checking me out. I guess allowing me time to cancel my order is what it felt like. Shortly after the cook!!! Screams "if people keep coming I will never get home, I can barely see andl blah blah.. it was 8 pm!!! He continued with "Go home! Go home!" The manager came out as he turn the.lihht on as the guy is screaming "Go home!" He preteded to not to notice but I looked him dead in the eyes! He was Soo ridiculous!! The only employees that had been nice; the guy that brought my food and Ms. Beverly!!! I have been going there every week for months !! I just found this jewel and I can't believe I was treated so poorly. Even the lady that waits the table stared at my friend's, mean mugging and attempting to intimidate us. The most sickening part is I spoke to someone and asked about his behavior and they claim he's always like that and they believe he is sick!!! Older citizens go there!! And that's how he talks and treat them!!! You all should be ashamed and don't deserve to serve our elders!!! If your problem is getting out late bc you close at 10... Close earlier don't mistreat customers that keep business going!!! That guy is bad for business!!!!!! He was a small Asian man..and the manager should...
Read moreUnbelievable I guess Door dashers are not customers in the employees and management eyes. I'm there to pick up an order and they reply with "we don't see it in our system or someone must have picked it up already" then I call doordash and they cancel the order on my end and I'm guessing they re-ordered it because then they were trying to give it to me at the end but before that the young asian girl that was assisting me didnt bother to ask if thatbwas everything or if I needed anything else...instead she points behind me to try and attend the pwrson behind me ... ok ... so I get to the end of the line behind the 2 customers that were in line so I'm third in line because I wanted to purchase a couple of pastries but they completely ignore me and just keep passing by and looking at me can't even get a word in so I called the store and asked to speak to management ... this was the only way to get a hold of someone by calling the store, when management comes I explained everytjing yes he apologized by saying his employees thought that i was just waiting on the order .... he apologized for that repeatedly but still didnt ask if i wanted anything ... well when I told him I was going to purchase something but not anymore since I was completely ignored. I guess they don't see delivery people as customers we are helping them make their paycheck by delivering ... Alot of people don't appreciate what we do for...
