We were here for a wedding. The rooms were great, minus the one day the AC didn’t seem to be working in three different suites we had. They are hot and cold on answering messages via the Hilton Honors app, which I’ve never experienced before. Because we were so busy with the wedding, I was only able to notify Hilton about the AC issues via messaging in app, which was never addressed.
I’m rating our experience 3 stars, because of the UNACCEPTABLE service we received in valet.
Not sure if this valet team was new and inexperienced, but these are not mistakes you can make. When we pulled up on multiple occasions, the valet attendants would stand around and talk amongst themselves even after visually seeing cars parked with people stepping out.
When we requested our vehicle the second day, we watched as the valet attendant was unable to find our keys. The attendant then ran over to our truck, parked against the curb in the last spot before the main road. They were able to open the doors to our vehicle and find the keys inside. The last time we parked our car with the valet was the NIGHT PRIOR. Our vehicle was left unlocked overnight, with keys inside, and thousands of dollars of tools since it was a work vehicle. We even gave the attendant from this night a $10 tip. Figures 🙄
I called and expressed this issue to the front desk, which put me in touch with the valet manager. He was very apologetic and said he would be investigating what happened, we were told our vehicle would be parked safely from then on.
Fast forward to later that night. Our vehicle was pulled up for ANOTHER GUEST when they requested for their car! Luckily this was someone in our group, but that was another inexcusable mistake as valet for a hotel like this.
I contacted the valet manager again and they were very apologetic. They certainly wanted to get to the bottom of it, but these things still happened and we were incredibly lucky nothing happened. For anyone looking to valet your vehicle at this hotel, please be careful and double check they...
Read moreThis is my first time staying at this location. We pulled up to a very beautiful glass building. In the front, there is a beautiful statue, and valet parking is right in the front. When, you walk into the inside of the building, it is very open and very spacious and very beautifully decorated inside. We were greeted warmly by reception and we were provided the the permit for parking to put on the dashboard. Self-parking is across the street in a parking garage. We did have an issue with the reservation however, the assistant manager, Lance Kuykendall I was able to come out and get it rectified and we were taking care of and on our way. Lance, Thank you for taking care of the issue so promptly. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the digital key and had to go back downstairs to get a card issued. The rooms are absolutely beautiful; I fell in love with the with the bedside small dressers that are mirrored. I do have to say the bathroom is small in comparison to other Hilton's that I've stayed in and we didn't receive bottles of water that I've received at other locations. The only other small issue that I had was housekeeping left a wet cleaning towel in the chair and when, I went to take a shower and the bottom of the tub has something gritty all over it like a cleaner was left in it. It didn't even rinse away during the shower. I will ask housekeeping to check on it today. Other than that, this is an extremely quiet and peaceful location. The hotel provides anything that you could possibly ask for inside and within a short distance of its location. They have a nice bar that serves food. They have a delicious Angus burger and triple chocolate mousse cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Unfortunately, I forgot to get pictures of them. I would highly recommend staying here. It's...
Read moreThe parking here is no joke. You have to pay each time you come and go, meaning you can't leave to pick up food or essentials, stop by the hotel in between visiting friends or family or any other reason without paying at least $9.50. I guess this is not a place to stay at it you have many plans. It might not seem like a lot, but it really adds up. Valet is the same, although it's a flat $30 each and every time.
The room is okay. Not much better than a Red roof in or something similar. The pool looks good but we haven't gone down yet. We didnt plan on eating here although we consider it now that the parking prices pretty much justify staying here. I'll be damned to pay 15.50 (after two hours) to go get food to come back and park again to pay another fee. Ridiculous. We have been here less than 24 hours and already paid $42.00 in parking. Four more days to go.
All in all, I've stayed in MANY different hotels, motels, etc throughout my travels and this just doesn't seem worth it. I knew better before I booked it but I took a chance. Already regretting it. Save yourself the money and stay somewhere else. Seriously, it's not worth it. If I were here for business and just this was on the company dollar, fine. Even with that said, look around first. I very rarely leave negative reviews because I worked in advertising and know how important reviews are and most are unjustified and skewed. I am disappointed.
Business stay - it's good and will fill your needs. Stay is very nice and helpful. We had an issue with the shower curtain and they fixed it immediately.
Personal stay with plans - find something else. The costs add up fast. Even if you get a good deal...
