Everything looks nice but this is a cheap place. Just to enter the lobby you have to wait for someone to buzz you in. Then they say check in time is at 4PM. I never heard of a hotel with check in after 3PM. Look at the placement of the shower handle in relation to the handy cap bar! Why would you do such a placement? The water comes out of the shower in slow motion. I mean they put on such super water saving shower heads that barely a mist comes out. The spout is missing from the body wash bottle. No biggie it just runs down the side of the bottle making a mess and you have to scoop it up to use it. The Conditioner was totally empty. I forgot my cell phone in the truck so I tried calling the front desk. Well, the phone does not work. No dial tone. I usually love Hotel soap, shampoo and conditioner. Usually, great stuff. This time it smelled like some Christmas scent that your grandmother bought in Kmart. Remember the very low water pressure? It took me half an hour to rinse this scentsy stuff out of my long hair! Also, the doors to the rooms do not close without pulling them hard. If you are not diligent this just leaves the door to your room open. The AC would not shut off and the TV did not turn on. Update: From the managers response I don't think that my review as actually read. The place does not need a renovation. It just needs better housekeeping and maintenance. My room was nice. It was just that stuff did not work and or was not replenished by housekeeping.

First off let me start by saying there is a very bad smell in this place idk what it is but it smell very bad. I got to my room and the smell got worse I have to go buy cleaning Products to clean the room and let me tell you it was very dirty in the room I had to clean the whole room up from the bathroom to the kitchen to the headboard of the bed and the table and the chair and the doors there was blood on the bathroom doors it was very disturbing. So now let me get into the fact to I had to go to the emergency room flea bites. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I paid over &500 for a week for this room just last week to get ate up by fleas the lady at desk apologize but that’s not enough for me in my eyes. I want all my money back I end up checking out two day for it was time for me to check out due to the fact I was getting ate by fleas and I couldn’t take the smell anymore it was making me sick don’t stay here. I’m highly allergic to any bug bites so I was swollen from the fleas bite I’m out of work til the 27th due to all the bite

I recently stayed here and the location is good, but there’s no customer service etiquette. I was told housekeeping don’t refresh the room until after 5 days and I would have to bring my dirty towels to the front desk and swap them out. Although I don’t use them, I’ve noticed the shampoo and body wash looked the same, has the same texture, has the same color and smelled the EXACTLY the same. While one studio room had a remote that worked, a phone and no bedside lamp, another studio had a nonworking remote, no phone and a bedside lamp. Then I was told since there was no maintenance after hours, I had to reprogram the remote of which it didn’t work after having to go downstairs to get the remote. I was awaken at 2:30am by marijuana smell all through my room and I had to open the window. The replacement towels had holes and stains on them. The location was good though.

As many others have said, IF I could I would give this hotel a ZERO.

First, let me state that the room was booked for us - we arrived with a confirmation number and were told that they could not find our reservation. After an hour of rude "service" we finally had things semi worked out and we went to our room. Upon arriving in the room, we found a queen size bed and a recliner. This would have been fine but there were 2 adults plus a 5 year old and there was truly not space for 3 of us to sleep - we actually took turns sleeping in the recliner.

We had the space for 4 nights and stayed there as little as possible as it was crowded, dirty, and quite frankly we did not feel safe. The final straw was when we needed to extend for a night. I did everything on my end and again had a confirmation number that they could not find.

Please understand that my child was at Medical City Dallas for a surgery and we could not drive back home directly after discharge. I arrived back at the hotel hoping to shower and rest for a quick hour to be told that they had no communication about extending our stay and that ultimately I had about an hour until checkout. I explained to the EXTREMELY RUDE girl at the front desk that this should all be worked out and she said, "I can't find it and it is not my job to".

I proceeded to my room to figure things out and my key had been deactivated (prior to checkout time). I went back to the front desk and overhead the same girl and HER MANAGER (REBECCA) talking RUDELY about ME and the fact that this was not their problem or job. I called them out on this and asked that they reactivate my key so that I could get my things.

Upon arriving back in my room, the manager, Rebecca, called my room to tell me that they were not talking about me and then reiterated that this was not their job to figure out and ultimately I had 30 minutes to get out. Meanwhile, my husband was calling that my child was being discharged from the hospital and we had no place to stay - THANK GOODNESS there are SO MANY cleaner, reasonably priced hotels in the area!!

I packed our things and left. I asked for a receipt to show that my card had not been charged anything and promptly left to go pick up my child. I not sure why they do a hold when you pay in advance because there is NOTHING to charge to your room. Nonetheless, there was a $75 charge on my card and I had to dispute this with the credit card company.

I do not write reviews often and I have worked in the customer service industry for close to 30 years. One thing that I have learned is that there will always be kinks in the systems but they can be handled with fairness, kindness, and grace. This staff was NONE of these things - they were by FAR the rudest, most unprofessional staff I have ever...

I and my boyfriend have stayed here for a month; the room was clean and the location was great. They have a free laundry and dryer. Everything was great, but the customer service was so terrible. The reservation was under my name, and two days before I left, I did ask the front desk if my boyfriend could check out by himself and if there was any form to sign or notice because I had to go back to Miami earlier. The staff said I did not have to sign anything, just check out before 11am. In the evening, I and my boyfriend came and asked one more time to make sure I didn't have to sign anything. We met the same staff, and she said the same thing. A day before we left, I and my boyfriend came a third time (with another staff member) to ask the same thing about the deposit. We deposited it in cash, so she said we could take the full amount back after checkoutand no property was damaged. I thought everything was ok until I just landed in Miami, and my boyfriend called me to tell me that the front desk did not give the deposit back. She said she was the manager (Black, long hair, fat), and she lied that she’d talked to me 3 times, and she was sure that I was not staying with anyone. BUT THE STAFF I TALKED TO WAS NOT HER. My boyfriend told her that he would call me to confirm, and then she just stayed in the back. Until I called the front desk number, and she told me I had to write an email to confirm. The police came too. Writing an email was not a big problem. I understand that I have to inform, but I asked 3 times, 2 different staff members, and they said the same thing, so it’s very annoying. Hope the staff in this property are...

Candlewood suites actually disappointed me this time. I reserved the room by phone because I tried online for a special rate for work but that rate was much higher. By phone they had the lower rate which doesn't make any sense to me. But to get that rate they had to put me in a handicapped room, which I am not. Check-in was 3pm and I indicated on my reservation that I would arrive between 12 and 3pm. I arrived at 4:10pm that day, and was told my room wasn't ready! Several other people who reserved rooms when I did for the same work function had their rooms ready when we all arrived together. I finally got my room at 430, and the clerk at the front gave me some rewards points for my troubles but I personally didn't think it helped. In the room, I noted that the AC was set to 64 but it never really got very cold but it wasn't uncomfortable. The shower was a walk-in one and water spattered all over the floor when I showered with the handheld shower head. The traffic could be heard all night long and I didn't sleep well on the first floor. The phone didn't work and you couldn't call directly room to room even though the phone directions explicitly said you could. I had a colleague in another room and knew exactly what room she was in and told the front desk her room number and name. The front desk told me it was a different room and different name but that wasn't true. The colleague couldn't hear me over the phone because there was nothing but static. Update your phones, and have rooms ready when you say the check in time is supposed to be, candlewood! The bed was very comfortable was...
