Family Pizza & Pasta Italian Eatery — Restaurant in Dallas

Let me tell you something....I'm a JERSEY GIRL living in a Texas world for over a decade. I just recently moved to this area & couldn't believe they were selling pizza by the slice (NY, NJ, PA people feel me) and boasting NY Style (insert eye roll 🙄) - "Yeah 'aight!". I walked in saw the pizza boxes stacked up, the tall white Styrofoam cups next to the soda, napkin dispenser on the table with the crushed red pepper flakes & parmeasean & the sign with specials of slices with a drink/fries and was like - 👍🏾 they might know what they doing. Ordered my 2 slices with a drink & that joint came out looking RIGHT!! But then when I folded it and....WORD IS BOND (aka Texas "Oh my goodness YA'LL!!!") I tasted HOME 🙂‍↕️🤗🫡!!! I don't know if they imported the water to make the dough from NY or not but when I tell you that this was EVERYTHING 🤌🏾! ...THIS 👏🏾WAS👏🏾E V E R Y THING 👏🏾!! If you from the East Coast & wanna taste home in your pizza...YO COME HERE!!! If you want to know what real pizza taste like or wanna experience having a slice of NY pizza - this is it. They even got strombolis, calzones, hot/cold subs. I'll be back to try them joints too...

I was given the total for my food over the phone, then when I got to the restaurant and the girl rang everything up the price had increased by $8. I didn't say anything at first, and just paid. After I got the receipt I looked at it and there was an extra piece of cheesecake I was charged for that I did not order, and did not recieve. So I asked her about it and she said that even though it was on the receipt, I wasn't charged for. So I added each item up one by one with her and showed her that I was definitely charged for it. She argued with me about the math. I used my calculator on my phone right in front of her, showing her that I was definitely charged for the cheesecake. Also, I ordered and laid for spaghetti with meat sauce, and I was given spaghetti with just sauce. On top of all that, the food was terrible. I would've rather eaten a bowl of spaghettios. 1st time to this restaurant. Placed and paid for order at the counter. My 10yr old son asked for 2 slices of pizza. Husband ordered the lasagna special and I asked for a recommendation and was suggested the Chicken Murphy. Served ourselves drinks from the soda fountain. Tea was also available. Found ourselves a table and the Caesar salads were served quickly. The dressing was delicious and the servings were generous. Before we could finish our salads, our food arrived steaming hot. The pizza slices were large and my son barely finished one. Hubby scraped the lasagna off the plate. My chicken Murphy was so spicy and delicious. Huge servings of both of our plates.
