Texas you should do better your customer service is disgusting. Checking into this hotel we called for an early check in the day before we made the reservation. The day of check-in we were told we did not have an early check in when it clearly says on our reservation early check in and upper floor. Guess what floor we are on right the first. Whatever we check in at 2 pm go to the room I try to turn on the shower and you guest it the shower handle comes off in my hands. I walk it to the front desk and she says I will have maintenance come look at it. Oh it's been 30 minutes no maintenance we have been traveling for two days my husband is a truck driver. The front desk staff is rude and unhelpful. Update it's 4:30pm the maintenance finally shows up to fix the shower disturbing my husband's sleep. Update to the update it's 5:55pm and someone is vacuuming the hallway you guessed it right outside our door not the whole hallway just the hallway outside our door for about 5 minutes. It's not all horrible the front desk called at about 4:10 to ask if we wanted to change rooms but we had already managed to pull the broken nipple the faucet knob sits on to turn on the water to take showers. Our room is right off the pool great if we were on vacation but not when you are trying to sleep after driving for two days. Update to the updates: This morning we had a drop we packed up like we always do because you can't leave your belongings in a hotel you book for one night. We left for our drop at 6:45 am. When we returned everything was turned upside down in our room bed undone. We didn't check out our keys still worked. Called the front desk and was told we checked out how we did turn in our keys or get a receipt for our travels. I'm wondering what the rush was yesterday there was no rush when we asked for an early check in. I'm over Houston I just noticed that they put us all on the first floor. Yup all on the first floor. I have been to many hotels to be a platinum member for two yrs just so this hotel chain put us back to back to silver because we didn't have roll over nights at the end of the yr. Even though we stayed at a hotel on my birthday 12/31/24-01/01/25. Sounds like a roll over to me. I guess this is how silver members...
Read moreI had a horrible stay here. While on vacation with my family we decide to stop here (huge mistake). First, Crystal checks us in and gives us a room that smells of terrible mold/water damage. Which was a room with TWO beds. Then we were changed to a much smaller room, with only 1 bed and a pull out bed for my children to sleep on WITH NO BEDDING OTHER THAN A SHEET. No pillows or comforters!!!! So again, I go back to the front office and ask for bedding for my children. Mirah (now a new lady that knows nothing about the room change and bedding issue) takes me upon the elevator with her. And takes me to the smelly room and has ME to carry 2 think heavy comforters and 4 pillows all the way down to our new room. Just wait, you think that's bad, it gets worse! At 7:45 am the kids and I go get breakfast and while we're gone my husband calls from the room and tells me the cleaning ladies didn't knock just barged right in with my husband in the bed and took our towels!!!!! I was planning on taking the kids for a quick swim and there went out towels! THEN we leave for 8min to go to the corner store, when we return house keeping was in the middle of cleaning our room! It was 10:48am. I requested 12pm check out! And they took all our drinks and food out of the fridge my sons milk formula was spoiled and ruined!!!! They obviously lacking communication skills! However, I spoke with Alex Petal and he said he would give me a full refund, he sincerely apologized AND told me he would by me 1,000 points. Alex Patel has yet to refund me for my stay like he said he would and buy the 1,000 points for my choice rewards account. Read moreWhen I arrived the front desk clerk was very nice. I was even allowed to check in 35 minutes early. I got my key card and headed to the elevator with all my belongings. Get to the room and the key doesn't work. Went back downstairs with all my stuff and got a new one. Went back up to the 2rd floor last room all the way to the back end of the hotel. The key card did not work again. I started to get a little frustrated having to carry everything back down for the 3rd time. The housekeeping lady happened to be in the hall and let me in to out down all my stuff. Very nice person and friendly. Went get another card and the desk clerk had maintenance come and look at the door lock and run the scanner on it. The 3rd key card worked.
To the room... the hall way smelled like a sewer lime leaked. The room is outdated, but ok as I am not picky. I get into the room and to my surprise it was nice and cold. Plus on that part. I noticed there was a hole in the ceiling next to the TV. Weird right. But the room didn't smell like the hall. Thank goodness for that. Looks to be clean and orderly.
The sofa cushions looked clean until you flipped them over. Looks like food on them. Left them alone. Lol.
The bathroom... looking into the door of the bathroom it seems to be clean. Toilet is clean, cabinet is clean, floor is clean, tub... well it wasn't white. Lol it was slightly brownish black with some rust. Again old and outdated.
The TV turned on, but there was no service as it stayed it did. I went through all the inputs and nothing. I even tried to swap the HDMI to another port. Nothing. Thankfully I had a laptop to watch.
The parking lot seems to not have any cameras so you better make sure you hide everything in your truck bed and that it is all locked up like Fort Knox.
