I can honestly say this place is what I needed I left the salvation army for reasons of feeling like I was just a worker for the business assett of the company not a alcoholic seeking help so I left and came to the WHEELHOUSE cause I needed A.A I had never read the Book But I have heard of it yes this place will test you and your frustration yes it will challenge you yes you won't understand the bigger picture sometimes but I assure you that if you humble urself and listen you will get the message but it's 30 days of being uncomfortable for a lifetime of recovery I can say that if you apply what you learn here to your everyday life you will truly have a great chance that you will not have to go back to your old ways my name is Joshua and I'm GRATEFUL for everything I experienced here today I'm 5 months and sober and the ball never stops unless you it want too!!!...

This place is only for homeless people that need a place to sleep! My husband went here to try to get help for drug addiction and he agreed to sleep on a cot while he waited for a bed to open up. The next day they told him he couldn't shower until a bed was open and could not brush his teeth. He also learned that they kick people out over things as small as accidently slamming the door or leaving the toilet seat up. The people that run this place just like to push people around who are weak and have nowhere else to go. Do not go here if you want help!
