I usually run in for some things i need for a few projects. They always have the friendliest and helpful people working there, not to mention that even the contractors that go in there will also put some suggestions into what you are trying to do. I had one that I needed some ideas for just this past week, and as i was talking to one of the workers, one of the upper management person happen to over hear the conversation. He stopped and gave a suggestion. What he was suggestion was perfect, but i told him it was really more than what i wanted to pay since it was coming out of my pocket and not my employers pocket. He said no, it's not coming out of your pocket, it's coming out of ours. He told the employee to give me whatever it was i needed. I was about in tears when i left there. I have been to the store a couple times, so far. I was able to get everything I need so far. I know that label says Deer Park Lumber Company, but they have many hand tools and miscellaneous items you may need for your crafting, hobby, and maker needs. The only reason I give a 3 out of 5 stars in the review is because the last time I was in the shop, I got the feeling the salesman thought I was stealing by hovering over and a few comments I heard that I assume I wasn't suppose to. I went in today for paint, painting supplies, molding, some electrical components and have used them quite a bit in the past. Service was good, all my questions were answered and prices were reasonable. It is a bit more expensive than Walmart or the big box hardware stores, but it's worth it to avoid long lines and big crowds and receive one on one service without having to hunt someone down (who may or may not be able to help you). It's a chance to support local business as well. While a lot of their business is undoubtedly industrial, you're treated as if your shopping matters...
