Worst bank. We are a small nonprofit and purchased a property via their mortgage reps to expand animal welfare efforts. Two days before closing they increased our down payment from 35% to 55%... TWO DAYS before closing. They also forced my husband and I to be guarantors on the property despite THEIR OWN PAPERWORK sating nonprofits do not need guarantors. Watch out for their shady credit card program, too. For over 8 weeks a $3,500 payment was taken out of our checking account, and went to some mysterious "holding account in preparation to pay the bill". The CC's took 4+ weeks to have the balance paid --- a free loan to Collegiate on the backs of a small nonprofit! Josh and many of his staff were absolutely terrible at communicating, and after 4 consistent emails (with him on the email thread) he claimed "he thought our issues had been addressed". My drivers were stuck on countless occasions with cards that weren't working, with zero resolve. Our CC accounts and checking accounts STILL have not been properly closed despite my request in writing SEVERAL weeks ago. VERY SHADY and absolutely unethical.... Our donors...
Read moreI brought my business to Colligate Peaks Bank about 5 years ago. I was formally a Chase bank customer. At Chase, I was literally just another number. I cannot say enough great things about Colligate Peaks. I walk in, everyone knows my name, they say “Good Morning”..it’s amazing! I’m a small business owner, but I’m a Pie Maker first. I’m still learning about business. The staff at Colligate, especially through the pandemic, was beyond helpful. They gave me the assistance we needed to survive the first few weeks of the unknown, very few questions asked. They trusted me & I trusted them. The staff at Colligate make me feel like I’m the only business that banks there. They act like a partner in my business. There is no dumb question this pie maker can ask. What I like most, is that they do what they say and they do it promptly. There are no hidden fees, no random $25 convince charges, no nada. I would highly recommend any new business to start with Collegiate, simply because they care and want to see you...
Read moreBe careful with this bank they steal your money and then they put it back in. I just called them and asked them. Why am I being charged for items that I placed on October 2? He’s telling me it might be a minute to they complete the transaction when I made the purchase the money was gone instantly and now these people have took 70 something dollars out of my account They had me on -117. This is just ridiculous. There’s no way that they can charge us for items that you pay for on a second and today is the sixth. I’m closing my account with these company. They are stealing other people have already made comments about how they are colors on the comments in different locations. I don’t know what it is, but I would not deal with a bank that’s taking money out of my account. And the transactions are still saying, pending after they are already took money out of my account putting me on negative this has...
