Disgusting.

I had to make a last-minute reservation to stay near the airport. The location of this hotel is great. I got in around 9 pm and the app said there was only one room left (i.e. I didn't get to select a room). When I got to my room, I was dismayed to find that there were 3 very large moths (like 1-2 inches long) flying around it. I called the front desk to see what could be done because they were flying all around and I was having a hard time trapping them. I was told there was not much that they could do because housekeeping has already gone home for the day. Further, because they were already fully booked, there was no other room they could move me to I was just hoping to borrow a vacuum or something because I was having a hard time getting them. But I was asked to stay on the line while they called their manager.

After a brief hold, the mute was removed and I could hear the front desk employee talking with someone else. The someone then said something along the lines of the idea that I was just complaining to try and get a free room or upgrade or something.

I was then asked to come back to the front desk to be given a different room. I was surprised based on the conversation I had heard plus the fact that the app and the front desk both told me they were fully booked. I can only assume they then gave me the room of someone who had not yet arrived. My apologies to the fellow traveler who got stuck with this room.

So I was then assigned to the identical room on a different floor. You can imagine my dismay when I got into the room to find YET ANOTHER very large moth flying around! I was absolutely disgusted. I called back to the front desk several times to try and ask for a vacuum, but I kept getting a busy signal. At this point, I decided I just needed to take matters into my own hands with my shoe. My apologies to my hotel neighbors who had to listen to me several times trying to kill this moth on the walls because it must have sounded like gun shots! I did my best to wipe up the smear mark. I then went around the whole room shaking all of the curtains, including the shower curtain, to make sure there were no more hiding. I then took all of the towels to the base of the doors to the hallway and neighboring room in case any more might find their way in that way.

Once that was all over I had to go get something from my car. I'm When I passed the front desk I mentioned what had occurred. One of the staff said that they really needed to get someone in to address this because they regularly had problems with these bugs.

So if you want to sleep in a bug-infested hotel, this is your place! As for me,...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn Denver Gateway Park , and I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional service I received, particularly from Ken, one of the staff members.

My arrival at the hotel was quite late due to a late flight, and I had an early morning flight the next day. Despite the late hour, Ken went above and beyond to ensure that I had a convenient and satisfying experience. He prepared a to-go breakfast for me knowing that I would be leaving early, which was a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated.

However, the next morning, when I was scheduled to take the 4:30 am shuttle to the airport, I encountered a minor hiccup as the shuttle was already full and the 5:00 am shuttle driver was going to be late. This situation could have been potentially stressful, but Ken's incredible problem-solving skills came to the rescue. He took it upon himself to find a solution, even though it was not a part of his usual duties. Ken arranged for an Uber from his account to make sure I didn't miss my flight. This level of commitment and dedication to ensuring my travel plans went smoothly was truly remarkable.

Ken's actions clearly demonstrate his genuine care for the well-being and satisfaction of the hotel's guests. His resourcefulness and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression on me. Thanks to Ken's quick thinking and exceptional service, I made it to the airport on time without any further stress.

I highly commend Ken and the Hampton Inn DEN Gateway Park for their outstanding customer service and their commitment to ensuring their guests have a positive and stress-free experience. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you, Ken, and the entire staff, for making my stay a...

I was looking for a hotel that was close to the airport since I had an early flight. There are several right near the airport but I don't trust the location. You read of cars getting broken into and like any movie, airport hotels can be sketchy. This one is with several other ones about 15 min from the car rental places. Nice area. Have a bunch of restaurants nearby. As for the hotel, the person behind the desk was an absolute pleasure to deal with. There was an issue using the app for a digital key, so standard ones were given. The lobby is clean, the elevators are clean, and the room is clean. Seems like a newer hotel than other Hamptons I've stayed in. All the amenities are in the bathroom. Coffee maker in there, too, so I'd skip that and get the free all day and night coffee in the lobby. As for the night, if the refrigerator was turning itself on and off throughout the night, this was the quietest hotel I've stayed in. No one was running down the hall, no one slamming doors in the middle of the night. Real nice. The app allows you to pick a room, so I stayed on the even room side, which faces the entrance, and I can see my rental car from the window. All in all, this has been the best Hamptons Inn I've stayed at, and I have probably stayed at 10 different ones around from Columbus, Ohio, to Richmond, VA. Bravo to the staff here. Apparently, there's a shuttle that will take you to the airport. Didn't use that. Also, I didn't use the pool or gym. Was here to take kid up to see University of Colorado Boulder, which was about 45 min away. Breakfast was good and filling. I would recommend this hotel for travelers trying to stay near the airport, but not that...

There are so many little details that a Hampton Inn provides which leave me happier than when I stay in other hotels. The staff at this one added to my enthusiasm as they were very friendly and accommodating. I asked to drop off my luggage quite early as I came in on an earlier flight, and they were ready to check me in by the time I got there. One way to know the experience level at a front desk is to note whether the clerk knows not to say the room number aloud. They met and surpassed all expectations. The fitness center was open all night and held more equipment than expected, and various kinds of coffee were available all day, along with hot chocolate. This was very beneficial for me due to jet lag causing me to exist on a very different schedule than normally expected for most hotel guests. The breakfast was fantastic, and there is a pond for a nice walk-around, and a Costco where I could get some additional meals. The room included a fridge and a microwave, too. The sewing kit that is included with other amenities was really appreciated as well. My next hotel was very good, but I wished I was back at the Hampton Inn. Thank you for everything!
