I recently had the most disappointing experience at this location due to the behavior of one of their cashiers. This review is aimed at shedding light on the unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service skills I encountered during my visit.
Firstly, upon approaching the cashier, I was met with an uninterested and half-hearted greeting. It was evident that the cashier had no enthusiasm for her job or serving customers. Nevertheless, I proceeded to request a simple accommodation: splitting the payment between my dad and myself. Shockingly, the cashier blatantly rejected my request, citing the absence of a membership card in my dad's name.
This policy simply does not make any logical sense. Both my dad and I are from the same household and are allowed entry into Costco using my membership card. However, when it comes to payment, apparently, my dad is suddenly rendered incapable of using his own card or paying with cash. This inconsistency is not only frustrating but also reflects poorly on Costco's management and their ability to establish coherent customer policies.
What truly infuriates me is the cashier's rude and condescending attitude throughout the interaction. Instead of offering a reasonable explanation or showing any empathy towards my situation, she displayed an appalling lack of respect and professionalism. It is clear that she does not appreciate the importance of her role in customer service and the impact she can have on customers' experiences.
Costco, as a well-known and reputable establishment, should prioritize hiring individuals who genuinely value their jobs and understand the significance of exceptional customer service. It is disheartening to witness someone with such a negative attitude and poor demeanor representing your brand.
There are numerous individuals out there who are actively seeking employment and would be grateful for the opportunity to provide exceptional service...
Read moreSo everyone I went into the Costco today about 145 pm 150pm and there were about two families ahead of me going in the door.
There was an greeter at door, checking for memberships her named Nidia.
Well, these two families that went ahead of me did not even show a membership didnât show their phone didnât have a membership card in her hand . Lo and behold as soon as I approach to go through the threshold she yells out hey I need to see your membership card.
I had it already loaded up on my phone. I threw it up. I just threw it so she can see it and proceeded in the store.
As I was walking around the store. I was thinking why was I the only one whom had to show there members card I was an bit confused so i went BCK to the main entrance and spoke with Nidia âI said hey why was it I was the only one at the time to present their membership card ? She stated because everyone else had their card ready.â I sated back NO way I seen the other customers in front of me the were not ready nor did they have their phones or cards ready to present to you or anyone elseâs âNydiaâ
then I went to management and told them what had occurred and then they said theyâll look into it.
Nevertheless, I did not like that I felt messed up up all inside . Just so unprofessional that Iâm only one carded .
Recalling in my mind when I confronted the front door person, I asked her I said hey why do you only card me and not the other people she responded very disrespectful and had no regards to my concerns.
I told the manager that I honestly seen people pushing in their cards going about-their! Mary way
I told the manager to go Camra
I know for a fact that this is what transpired
One, I wouldâve never said anything if this incident did not happen

Read moreThe recently opened Costco warehouse (opened on 07/19/2023) at Montebello/Green Valley truly stands out for its exceptional offerings. Notably, it boasts an impressive gas station, expansive parking lots equipped with charging stations, and even includes the sale of liquor. Its strategic location further adds to its appeal. The gas station itself is noteworthy, with the remarkable capacity to simultaneously accommodate 32 cars. This setup includes 8 cars in a single row, with four on each side (see pics). Interestingly, during my multiple visits for refueling, I've consistently found no lines at all. This gas station's size and efficiency make it the largest one I've ever encountered. Within the store, you'll find the familiar array of Costco products and layouts that customers are accustomed to. However, a slight issue that I've observed involves shoppers leaving their carts scattered throughout the vast parking lot. This behavior might be attributed to the spaciousness of the parking area, resulting in some individuals not taking the effort to return their carts to the designated locations. On occasion, I've witnessed shopping carts blocking spaces between cars, potentially causing damage to parked vehicles. Encouraging consideration for others by returning carts or perhaps adding more designated cart spaces by Costco could greatly improve this situation. To sum up, this Costco location is undeniably excellent. Its prime positioning and extensive offerings, combined with some consideration from shoppers, would make it even more...
