Are you kidding me: $12+ after tax FOR A BAGEL WITH SOME BREAKFAST STUFF ON IT?? I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches with 1/2 dozen bagels and she quoted me almost $40! This company is charging us over $12 for a bagel with some egg and stuff on it? Shame on you if you just hand over your card or a $20. I don't understand how people go through life an autopilot, so asleep, or how multimillion dollar companies have insatiable greed. Might want to recheck your latest business plan if you HAVE to mark your stuff up that much bec/ the latter is that the corporate community there really IS that messed up. So I cancelled the two sandwiches and you know what this girl behind the counter does? She's very clear at this point that the customer is on a tight budget and isn't bending over for any price she spits out. But she's checked out and when I tell her I'll still do the 1/2 dozen bagels for $8.99, she rings it up automatically as a 1/2 dozen PLUS a tub over their-I'm sure over priced cream cheese. I didn't ask for it why would you just assume ANYONE to order it? She didn't even ask me if I wanted it, she just added it and told me to grab it. I was confused. "Grab what?", I asked. She's like, "The cream cheese!" I'm thinking, "For what? What is this girl taking about???" She still didn't get what was going on. I had to spell it out for her, that i only wanted the half dozen bagels, without the tub of cream cheese. You'd think I'd be done with examples of poor service but nope, she didn't disappoint. To top it all off, after all of that, she's supposed to ring up $8.99 for bagels and she over cheerily exclaims, "$13.xx". WHAT NOW? Are you serious?Oh so sadly trained with no CS skills, or just people skills or common sense: the thought didn't even pop into her head to tell the customer on a budget that 4 of the 6 bagels she ordered, had an $.80 up charge EACH for a couple shreds of potato and a couple greens chiles. Almost a $1 per bagel this company adds, I cannot believe the stones on this company and what's worse is that YOU, the consumer, are mindlessly just paying whatever anyone tells you. Here's a thought: put something in savings and make your own breakfast. ?...
Read moreWas really excited, this would be my first visit to a Caribou coffee place. Have heard so much great things about them. And I love Einstein Bagels. So the fact it was two in one, YaY! When we got there it was packed, so I thought this was a great place. After finally getting to the register to have my order taken, which the wait didn't bother me at all, I asked for a large frozen drink [can't remember it's name now, some mint Andes] and two plain bagels toasted with plain cream cheese. The lady taking my order asked me twice what drink I wanted and how I wanted it. After I told her 2 additional times the exact same way, she then asked me what else did want. So AGAIN I told her the 2 plain bagels toasted with plain cream cheese. She asked if I wanted my bagel toasted, I said yes ... and then she said asked which smear, I said plain again. (By now was just a Lil annoyed, my order couldn't have been any more simple) Then she read back my order, large blended [Andes drink] and one toasted plain bagel with plain. Had to tell her AGAIN I wanted TWO plain bagels same way, only to go through all her bagel questions again! Finally, that part was done! Waited a good 10 mins for my order, which again I didn't have a issue with cause the orders in front of me. When my order was done, she handed me a large hot drink of the one I wanted and my bag with my bagels. I told her I asked for blended, she got a rude tone and said that the order said hot, so again I told her I ordered blended. She then grabbed the drink very rude with attitude in her body, face, and tone and told me "well then you are going to have to wait longer". She made 3 more orders before mine, then finally made mine, only to put it on the counter and not say anything to me, didn't even looked at me. So yea, I got my order finally after going through a process the whole time there! Not to mention by time got to eat my bagels, me and my little cousin got to enjoy cold...
Read moreMy family & I used to come here several years ago. This customer service wasn’t outstanding…needless to say, some things never change. I ordered through the mobile app and opted for the curbside pick-up option. I felt bad, because as I was placing my order, there wasn’t a gratuity option. I headed over, but another red flag, (aside from my apprehension due to previous experiences with staff), was there were no front parking spaces labeled for curbside. I parked in front, in hopes one or two staff members may be assigned to check for curbside orders. I saw a few people seated at a table (the only) out front. I saw a couple folks walk out with orders, but no one who looked to be a staff member. I called the number on the Google, because also there is no posted number outside to call, and no one answered. I headed in and wasn’t sure where to go. I observed area for the delivery drivers. I looked at a bag, but didn’t see my name. I approached the counter and called to a lady who didn’t hear me, (I guess) so I called to her again. She was basically right in front of our food, thankfully. I asked if they had curbside, (I mean come on, Applebee’s next door has signs for curbside parking and the phone number) it’s not that hard. She says, we do, but we’re busy and I didn’t see you. I turned and pointed to my vehicle out front. I said, well I didn’t know, in response to her “we were busy” statement. She throws her hands up and says in a slick, snotty tone (as if I were the one not doing my job), “no worries.” I wasn’t worried, if I were I would’ve asked for a full refund. I simply wanted my order. If you don’t want to do your job, just say that! I sure hope no one else has an experience like this. Or just certain people are...
