Rumors — Restaurant in Doral

By far the worst service i have seen lately.. As a surprise my girl made a reservation a month in advance for my birthday since I wanted to try the burger.. when we were ready to order around 9pm, "they ran out of burgers" really? 5 people in our table did not eat because that is what they wanted. Then everytime we asked for something, we needed to ask the server 3 or 4 times to get anythings. Even a bottle of water will take over 20 mins. Then we decided to order a bottle, and the bottle came in a broken container with ice, the server put a lot of napkins under it.. that thing leaked water the entire night as the ice stared to melt. (That container belongs in the trash, not on somebody's table, or at least if you are so cheap get tome super glue and glued the thing) Management needs a lot of improvement if you want this place to last. Just after the bottle was done, we were out the door.. That been said, that is the reason why places like this don't last. The atmosphere and the music was good, but that was it. Don't waste your time with this place unless you like...

My wife and I went to Rumors yesterday evening for the first time. They opened in Doral less than 3 weeks ago. What a pleasant surprise to be greeted by founder and renown mixologist and restauranteur Gustavo Osuna. Wow, we had an amazing experience from beginning to end with delectable craft cocktails, a fine Pecorino wine, an amazing Caesar salad with chicharrón, an exquisite Chilean Sea Bass and Chateaubriand, and topped off with a magnificent passion fruit crème brûlée. Great vibes, superb service, good food and music!!!!! Highly recommended for memorable date night in Miami. Thank you, Daisy, for your courteous welcoming. We just visited this place for the first time. We ordered the octopus appetizer, which was TO DIE FOR; both the entrees and desserts were delicious as well. We highly recommend the pearl couscous side; it was so good, we wish we would have ordered 2 of those instead. Shout out to Oriana who was a wonderful server and made our dinner experience even better. We came back later for that night for the live music and cocktails and had the same wonderful service, this time by Stephanie.
