Was very impressed overall. Last night I noticed that there was a dark spot in the same place of every photo I took with my iPhone 8 Plus. I figured out that there was a piece of dust or dirt stuck inside the camera lens. This morning I took it to the Geek Squad. They checked that they had the part in to replace the camera, and they did. I also needed a battery replacement, so they did that too. In just two hours, I had my phone back with a new camera and new battery.
However, it doesn’t quite end there. Right after I left the store, I noticed that my iPhone wouldn’t connect to a cellular network. I restarted and tried everything. I went back into the store and feared the worst (that they damaged my cellular antenna during the repair), but luckily within five minutes they got my cellular back up and running.
I was very satisfied with Geek Squad today. They were pleasant and professional, and completed both repairs in a timely manner. When they screwed up my cellular data, they quickly fixed it. Whatever that's fine but that tech also told me it would be $180+ to do the job. Why is head quarters lying to their customers. Now I have to wait 3 days n pay 180!!
