Alright, folks, gather 'round for my Red Robin adventure! So, I bravely embarked on a quest to conquer the Scorpions burger. It was like a rollercoaster ride for my taste buds—okay, maybe more of a kiddie ride, nothing too wild. The Scorpions burger had its moments of greatness, but it left me wanting a bit more flavor excitement. It's like the scorpions were more interested in sunbathing than spicing up my life. Maybe they were taking a vacation, who knows?
Now, let's talk about the bottomless steak fries. The idea of endless fries sounds like a dream come true, right? Well, in theory, it is. But reality slapped me in the face when I realized these fries were lacking a crucial element—crunchiness and saltiness. They were more like floppy potato noodles than crispy fries, and the absence of salt left me yearning for that golden, savory goodness. I mean, who wants to eat fries that are as plain as a potato's day off? It's a shame because my stomach has an unending appetite for crunchy, salty goodness.
Oh, and let's not forget about the prices. Now, I understand that Red Robin is more than your average burger joint, but my wallet did a double-take when it saw the numbers. It's like the prices were playing hide-and-seek with my budget. I had to do some mental gymnastics to convince myself that this was indeed a burger place and not a five-star gourmet restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for treating myself, but I wouldn't mind a little more bang for my burger buck.
But wait! Hold your disappointment because the dessert came to the rescue. It was the shining star of my Red Robin journey, the sweet savior that saved the day. I indulged in a heavenly treat called the Mountain High Mudd Pie, and boy, did it live up to its name! This dessert was a towering masterpiece of indulgence. Layers upon layers of rich chocolate, velvety ice cream, and a crumbly crust harmoniously combined to create a symphony of flavors. With each bite, I ascended to dessert heaven, leaving behind the mundane world of burgers and fries. If only the Scorpions burger and those fries could take a few lessons from the Mountain High Mudd Pie, we'd have a legendary meal on our hands.
In conclusion, Red Robin, you had me at Scorpions, but you lost me at floppy, unsalted fries and slightly higher prices. However, I'll forever cherish the memory of that delightful Mountain High Mudd Pie, and it gives me hope that one day, the entire meal will live up to its potential. Keep the scorpions spicy, the fries crispy (and salted!), and the desserts magical, and you'll have a...

TL;DR - Waited over a half hour (after ordering), was served cold food, management didn't care when addressed about it.
I went with my family yesterday, there was 6 of us total, 2 kids and 4 adults. We were seated promptly as it was about 4:15 and dinner hadn't really kicked off yet. It was bad from the start. The host was less than friendly and seemed to keep forgetting how many people we told her would be seated. We were seated though, drinks ordered along with the kids' food so they could get a head start on their meals before we ate ours. Our drinks were brought back, we ordered our burgers and then began the wait.
This is where it really went downhill - we waited at least 35 minutes from the time we placed our order. When we got our food my burger was luke warm, as were the other burgers at the table. I mentioned something to a young man who claimed to be the manager, but he didn't seem bothered by the fact that in a burger joint, all the burgers were mediocre at best. He offered to make us more food (that we'd have to wait an eternity for again) but seemed irritated when I explained that we were on a time table and actually needed to leave. I had to ask them to take the burgers back and off our bill. The manager seemed like this is a regular thing the whole time. It didn't seem to phase him one bit, that's the part that's worst about all this.
My dad's chicken tenders and fries were piping hot. What I'm sure happened was that the cooks didn't watch their tickets, our burgers were made and then someone realized that they hadn't cooked the tenders. So then rather than come out and explain what happened, the let our fresh burgers rest for 7 minutes while the fried food was cooking.
Poor customer service across the board. If you want delicious burgers, good service and a clean restaurant without this type of disrespectful staff or excessive wait time, just go down the street to Five Guys. This used to be our family go-to spot for dinners, but it won't...
Read moreFor the secone time in the last 2 months my wife has ordered a well well done cheeseburger and both times it wasnt even well done!
Last visit it took forever for our meal and the bathroom smelled bad. I also ordered the cod with French fries which that and the Bansai burger were my favorites at RR. The cod use to come as 3 big pieces and was so good. That time it was 4 very over done pieces and so dark that it had to be the oil in the fryer hadn't been changed.
This visit my wife ordered the kids meal along with my mother who is 80 years old they were both barley well done.
But.......my Bansai was well well done as my wife wanted the last three times lol.
Both my mother and my coffee were barley hot and it was only 48 degrees outside and honestly it was warmer outside!
The manager came to see if we wanted new orders for our hamburgers and we all said no!
My wife doesn't use social media and she said if she did she would post that this Red Robin is disgusting. Freezing cold oh and the last two times it wasnt even busy and it took forever to get our meals.
The bar area is so dirty, actually today the manager had one of the servers cleaning the glass between the sections and he used one towel and no cleaner..yep when he was done with them they weren't any cleaner.
The little tray they sit on your table with your napkins and silverware was so disgusting dirty we couldnt believe they actually had the nerve to bring anyone napkins on that dirty thing.
There is no way the G.M or Regional Manager or manager are doing their jobs. They cant be! If they were the things would be so much better.
Of course when they first opened a RR in Lancaster it was great. But its consistency and quality and treating your customers well.
Too bad they strike out at it all.
They really need to turn it around we like the food and atmosphere and location...
