I'm absolutely THRILLED to have the opportunity to tell Y'all how ABSOLUTELY impressed I was with this well organized establishment and it's amazing crew!!! These kids blew my mind on how AMAZING they were. Refreshing!!! Kudo's for these kiddos and the parents that raised them!!! Genuinely polite and friendly, efficient, fast and went over and above at customer service. I got there just before closing and was still eating when they closed. I was lucky to witness that they treated their very last customers with the same warm smile, excellent service, awesome positive attitudes as they did with their 1st customers of a long and tiring day. When it was closing time, they didn't rush any customers (including me - so appreciative) and they immediately got to work closing the store. I was also impressed that at the end of the night the dining room was pretty clean. I'll go out of my way to eat at a clean restaurant. They had great communication between each other, shared good, light hearted humor. On the personal note, I felt blessed to witness it all. Kids these days normally have such poor attitudes and work ethics so I was seriously THRILLED with this crew. I started working in fast food when I was a teenager and continued to do it as a 2nd job being a single Mom. All in all a total of 30+ yrs experience. So I know how hard it is to maintain genuine smiles,, a clean work environment, working fast and efficiently all while maintaining a positive attitude (cuz I'm here to tell you that the majority of customers are most often unnecessarily rude, mean, demeaning and straight up cruel sometimes) I'm confident that these kids have bright futures simply cuz they know how to do it right in any work environment. Keep it up Y'all- you're AMAZING, APPRECIATED and you DO make a difference. Great way to "Be the change you want to see in the world". Management: congrats on your leadership and please find a way to show your appreciation to your crew- they...
Read moreBest burger joint on the west coast. Forget fancy "gourmet" burgers. In-N-Out only offers one thing: cheeseburger. That's it. That's their whole menu. That's all you need. What they ditch in variety they make up for in quality, and speed. Because they know what you're going to order before you walk in. It's the only thing you can order. So they put extra special effort into making the best dang burgers they can craft. You can taste the freshness in their vegetables, the crispness of the lettuce and the juiciness of the tomatoes that clearly shows they made the extra effort to bring you quality ingredients. And also, the way they stack it. You have no idea until you try it just how much you appreciate a burger with lots of toppings that doesn't fall apart when you bite into it. They got this down to a science. They know exactly how much ingredients need to go on a burger to make it perfectly tasty and not disintegrate into a soggy mess in your hands, and it shows. In-N-Out puts an enormous amount of quality and care into their meals in a short amount of time, and it shows. Yeah, you can only get one burger, but it's the best dang burger...
Read moreAs long as I've had friends from California (I've had friends from California for years!) they always talked about this place and how much they LOVE it. When I finally moved here I decided it was time to see what everyone was raving about! I've gotta say, I wasn't all that impressed...I got the double cheeseburger animal style with fries animal style as well as it was a must according to my friends. The food was pretty standard in comparison to other fast food burger joints. The animal style was a nice little spin and added a little something different but overall it was your average fast food place. Greasy burger, typical fries. I ate it all so it wasn't terrible but it's not a place I would brag about. I'll probably eat there again if I'm craving a burger but if another place is closer, I'll probably just go to the closer restaurant instead. Definitely not going to go out of my way just for this place. The people working there were very friendly though and definitely enthusiastic. It's worth it to say you've tried it so you can check it off the Cali bucket list but that's about all...
