Need to hire either better employees or more plus ones with customer service. When I walked in it seem like only one employee working. It was an Asian employee working Thursday July 25, 2023 around 2pm. She had taken over 45 minutes to do a trade in, watching me struggling while holding items in my hand. Both counters had items on it. You would think common sense would be to remove items especially when I have a PlayStation 5 in the box struggling to hold it for 45 minutes straight, again customer service. Now let’s get to my issue customer service had given me a return label to ship back a damaged used PlayStation five I had purchased. Both employees said they had no idea how to ship the item back. I had explained they scan the bar code for FedEx as described by the customer service representative over the phone. I love the fact a FedEx employee was in the store picking up packages at that same moment again cameras don’t lie in a store. Rewind the camera if I am lying. So why would a FedEx employee be picking up packages then? Another employee comes in offers to call the manager also looking annoyed to help me, a gentleman with long hair. This will be the final time I ever recommend anyone buying from GameStop. How does your employee glance at two consoles she is buying from a customer but doesn’t bother to turn the ps5 on? Hint why I am returning my console because I was sold a used one that over heats. Absolutely sad that you want $400 change for a used console your employees don’t bother to turn on. I go to the gentleman with the long hair by the way my console came with a miscolored control, not original cords meaning hdmi, control charging cable. His reply that’s how GameStop takes items along with the stand missing to my PlayStation five. How about doing a better job with trade ins when you buy off sellers make sure all original items come with console, along with make sure your consoles are functional. Again I hope the store manager reads this rewind your cameras. Your employees have attitude problems along with self entitlement problems. Last time I will allow a family member, friend, coworker to shop at GameStop. Go buy with Luna video games, offer up better prices also you can test the product you are buying, while not being sold a...
Read moreCrisha helped me and my wife out at the register and she was an absolute joy and was immensely helpful! We had gone into the store just to browse, but immediately three dragon ball figures caught my wife’s and I’s attention. They were the high end kind so my wife and I discussed what we could afford. We had just gotten married and were open to splurging just a little. After a bit, we decided we would nab two of them since they had been on our list for awhile and will just have to get the third one down the road. When we got up to the register Crisha was kind enough to inform us of the buy two get one free sale. She was uncertain at first and even came out from the register to confirm that the sale was still ongoing. She didn’t want us to miss out on the deal or the figure and walked us through the process. We now have all three and are super happy with the price point and experience! I haven’t been to a GameStop in a long time, but we will be coming to GameStop from now on when we are looking to buy more Dragon Ball Z Masterlise figures!...
Read moreIt's GameStop. You know what you're getting yourself into when you walk in here.
Staff was nice, helpful, and the store itself was surprisingly not that busy despite being a week before Christmas.
With the advent of buying games online, physical retail copies of games has gone downhill, and GameStop's diversification in it's inventory shows. This specific location used to be packed, wall to wall, with games, consoles, accessories, and strategy guides. Now, it's mostly gaming related merch and collectibles, with mostly used games and gift cards supplementing the physical copies.
That said, I was still able to find what I needed for the gifts for my family member.
Would I recommend going to GameStop? Unlikely. But if you're in a bind and want to grab something real quick that's gaming related, it's not a bad pick. It's like 7-Eleven,...
